The staff were very friendly. food was excellent. The hotel was within walking distance of the shops also well situated for going for long walks beside the river and the canal.

Food is excellent and well presented. Location is good for shopping and parking is adequate. No Sky TV channel. Always had Sky in the lounge when I was there previously but not now. Too expensive they tell me! Very disappointing when you want to watch the football and it's only on Sky.

My son liked the pool. Horrible smell in bedroom - had to get airfreshener from reception, helped a little. Could not leave window open as it opened like a door. *really should have asked to change room.

Staff,food,location,leisure facilities Room was poor compared to last time we stayed and may contribute to us not staying there again. Did not get fresh towels and we were short of a hand towel and bath mat on the Saturday. Tea/coffee was not stocked up

The staff are always helpful and friendly. Meals and breakfast are good with a nice range and decent coffee at breadfast time. Comfortable bed and pillows. The room was above or near the kitchen so the smells were unavoidable.
