Wifi was good and allowed me to remote work as needed.
TV very poor signal. Room very hot at night. Wasn't obvious how to turn the heat off.
Poor choice on menu for starters and main course also very expensive and meals very small
Restaurant food was delicious and interesting. Comfortable room, nice soft bed.
The bar staff were not very skilled.
Clean, spacious and comfortable, conveniently close to motorway.OK for central Cheshire.
Set up mainly as a conference/training centre which tended to make it a bit noisey at times.
How polite & helpful the staff were on checking in. Loved the decor /colour scheme of my room, the bed was to die for it was so comfortable.
On checking out didn't get acknowledged as the receptionist was on the phone, but it wasn't a problem as we used the call button for the barrier
Staff were excellent
Food was poor
The noise from the next rooms toilet being used . the bar belonged in butlins not a £100 a night hotel. We should have been warned about the weddings booked in
Location and nice staff
The small double bed 4ft 6 'and small room not good enough considering the price. I rarely have seen such a small bed in an expensive hotel. I won't go there again
Too many TV's in the bar area -- nowhere to sit for a quiet chat !
The price of the drinks at the bar and that the residents bar closed at 1am even though we were told 4am. There were 25 people in our group all mature adults at the bar when they shut
The beds were so comfortable both myself and my family had two really good nights sleep
For the price I paid for the two rooms for myself and my family I was actually disappointed with the rooms as they were pretty standard. I have stayed in travel lodges and premier inns for far less which were much cleaner and tidier. My room at the cranage had a faulty smoke alarm, wall paper was peeling off the walls, the curtains had hooks missing and there was lots of spiders and other insects crawling around the corridors.
The food and bar
The bathroom was very small, dated and moldy. very small tv when it was advertised as a wide screen.
Room could do with a bit of fresh decoration, walls tired. Enjoyed stay and stay were very helpful.
Room was really cold when we returned in the evening, would prefer heating that's easier and quicker than switching on the radiator. Would have preferred not to sleep in single beds but it was only for one night so not a bit problem.
Pool and spa facilities very good. Evening meal and breakfast thoroughly enjoyable and well presented. Lovely grounds. comfortable room. Friendly staff
the pool steam room the food the lovely room very comfortable bed very helpful staff
small bath drinks were expensive
Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Nice rooms
Rooms where lovely but must admit mattress was very soft, slept on floor 3 rd night
All the staff were very helpful and the room was in excellent order. The decor is very tasteful and the food was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. The chef is really top class.
Welcoming and helpful reception staff and leisure centre staff. Comfortable room. good location for Tatton Park (Flower Show}
Felt Restaurant was overpriced for dinner and service less impressive as staff seemed inexperienced. Indoor barbeque at another table was very smoky! Breakfast good.
Easy to drive to and plenty of parking. Comfortable room.
Room good clean ,bed excellent
No advice on Wyfi never got it,finding room difficult no help,Car Park full, shower was too stiff got help from staff, things could have been better although hotel full seem to add to your problems
Excellent room with complimentary wine, very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to help, good sized pool and gym, extensive breakfast (we particularly liked the mushrooms). We couldn't believe this place was only 15 minutes away from us and we had never tried it before. The price was very reasonable and we will be back.
Evening meal was perfectly acceptable but the menu was a little uninspiring and limited compared with other similar places we have stayed recently, i.e. (Tortworth Court: Four Pillars and Moor Hall: Best Western Premiere).
Everything was as I would expect. Grounds were nice.
The bar food was poor value for money, as was the £10.00 glass of wine to go with it.
Free coffee and good quality meal and breakfast
Walls always too thin!
Grounds were lovely and good facilities
Had to wait an hour for the room to be ready, there was a wedding going on and we felt very awkward having to go past them and we were uncomfortable with this, our room was on the ground floor which meant we could not have the window open for air and as people left at 0700 there was noise
A gift for my Parents, they were very impressed with the location & surroundings. Lovely room & facilities, very nice dinner, enjoyed breakfast too! Thank you.
