poor parking facility, but unavoidable

The tea making facilities were excellent. Breakfast was a wide selection and tasted really fresh. The decor of our room was so lovely. Simple and elegant. The really friendly staff you can tell they love their job. It's not about the money for them.

The small bathrooms and electric toilet were a negative. The walls were quite thin so you can hear people going in and out of their rooms.

Service Clean Rooms Fantastic customer service Great breakfasts. Leighton and Mandy the owners even helped my mom get medication. Great all rounder would definitely return there again

This is a really good well run B&B, by very friendly and helpful hosts. It is in a good location, and there is a lot of nice little extra touches provided that you don't find elsewhere. Also a great breakfast in really nice surroundings.

There was nothing I didn't like.

They were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was well decorated, clean/tidy and they added the little extras Breakfast: was excellant Near the beach and shops

The only downside was the noise of traffic at night, but that cant be helped being on main road

The accommodation was very well kept, owners very friendly. Running the business for a short time all going very well and doing a fantastic job. Will certainly return and recommend to family and friends.

absolulty lovely stay!we only stayed one night but was perfect beds so comfy, breakfast was yummy and good choice to choose from. rooms and hotel very modern well decorated in matching colours and details. owners were so chatty and friendly suggested restaurants for us to go to very polite and welcoming for us to come back and stay anytime and we definatly would we had what was called small double room but it was absolutly fine it wasnt 'small' like i had in mind at all plently of space! yes there was alot of stairs but rooms made it worth the trudge as we was on top floor made no difference to our stay though. so glad we chose cranbourne :-)

Elderly visitors need to be aware of a lot of stairs if staying on top [3rd] floor.

The staff (dean and Richard) were fantastic and made me and my partner feel right at home straight away- and the room was literally as it was on the picture, it was lovely and clean and nicely decorated. Our room wasn't too big, but we had an en suite ( which is always nice) and a king size bed. The hotel wasn't far from town ( just a short walk away) and dean and Richard were very informative about the change of route (they were diversions due to builders etc) also, the breakfast we had in the morning was perfect!! Lovely place :)

The owners Dean& Richard were very hospitable, helpful and supporting. Room was in a good standard and breakfast was also nice. We enjoyed being there.

Our windows were to the road and therefore it was a bit noisy at night. Fortunately there were earplugs provided by hotel.

Everything! Dean and Richard are excellent hosts who go the extra mile to make your stay special. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was super each morning. Would highly recommend a stay at the Cranborne- well done Dean and Richard.

There would not be much parking available free of charge in the summer months

just one small thing for someone on the larger side was the toilet which was tucked in between bath & wall with no leg room

Owners are really helpfull and good local knowledge of where to eat and go. Very very clean rooms and close to all torquay has to offer. Would recommend the Cranborne to anyone looking for a nice friendly place to stay. We will certainly return.

Very accommodating. Was due to arrive late and they were ok with that, as it was traffic was good and I got there earlier. Lovely breakfast. They could not be more helpful.

Parking is limited at back. We were on the front, with road noise. Didnt bother me too much, but alarmed to get goodnight ear plugs rather than a chocolate!

No specific comments. Just a good guest house in a good location

Room 10 - a very noisy hot water tank (I think) in cupboard off room came on around 5.30 am and bubbled noisily for about half an hour. Loud enough to wake us up both nights

Very friendly welcome, with tea/coffee provided and a relaxing sit down in the lounge. Nothing was too much trouble, and even earplugs provided in case we opened the window to blot out traffic noise! Excellent breakfast served in a lovely room.

Only downside was the stairs, as we were on the top floor! Always seemed more after we had eaten our breakfast! If we return we would ask for a lower floor.
