Staff and very comfy room
A few ants
Staff were willing to help and very friendly
A lot of late night and early morning noise in the street outside. Room was just a little too compact.
THE NIGHT SHIFT GUYS WERE VERY GOOD
NO WINDOWS ,NO VENTILATION IN THE ROOM,REQUIRES MORE OF A CHOICE OF FOODS.
had a family running around till gone 1130pm
the reception staff.. very helpful, courteous and professional
the fact that we had no breakfast which was served between 7-9am.. came at 8.50 had to wait for a table to be free.. seated at a dirty table.. the waitress said it was self service which was fine.. we went up to get some food and she was clearing it away! she said breakfast finished at 9am.. I said we waited 15 minutes to get a table! no aologies.. or alternatives.. we travelled back over 20 miles to Surrey having had no breakfast.
The location was good, the parking adequate, and the breakfast was excellent. It was quiet.
The rooms were very small. I had the impression that single rooms were being used as doubles. Double beds were placed with one side against the wall. For me this is not acceptable. People should be able to get in to and out of bed on both sides
Friendly Staff and happy to store my bike in their laundry room
Need a fan in the room and doors are noisy
good location good reception.
No shampoo in baths.
The charming receptionist, a young Russian woman. An excellent breakfast. The catering staff were excellent.
The room was cramped and not secure. The bathroom was dated.
Main street within walking distance Staff tried hard to assist
Cramped rooms Very noise at night Badly stocked bar TV remotes didn't work properly and they couldn't fix them
I like the area
Rooms little small but overall brilliant.Breakfast excellent plenty of choice and hot.
paid for normal room, was given small box room instead with no window and not working fan at the bathroom, shower not working, workmen tried to fix for some time, checked out at 5 pm, getting my money back
Very good breakfast.
Limited drinks in bar.
Location, close to shops and tube station
Small room limited space to move around, room was exceptionally hot this is a concern of health and safety for young children and adults, my husband had an asthma attack due to not enough cold air circulating the room and my 18 month old had to be naked with just a nappy to be able to sleep comfortably. There was no air conditioning at all, the bathroom was really small would be suitable for only a one person using room, tap was loose needs to be fixed, shower was hard to work out no blue or red signs to indicate hot and cold, no bath mat another health and safety issue as floor becomes very slippery had to place a towel down so no one would hurt themselves especially for my child, bed was a reasonable condition pillows were too soft. The first night was an absolute nightmare, could not sleep the walls are too thin, could hear all the problems within the hall way room was to close to reception area no privacy at all. Other customers were loud and not considerative of other customers, staff could have done better to resolve tge issue and apology to customers for the problems would have been good service. Some staff are friendly others not forthcoming. First night was really annoying walked in a drunk man is in reception smelling really bad of alcohol and interrupted my initial registering process. Breakfast was not that good. Definately would not stay here again!
The staff at the reception was excellent
Room / bathroom was so small - one mirror in the bathroom.
* The food * The bed, it was a very comfortable firm bed. * The Bathroom, clean * The Staff were very friendly and helpful * The area was generally quiet
*No aircondition in the room, the room were very hot. *people were talking outside and it was quite noisy, so we were hearing their conversation while we were trying to sleep.
close to railway station Good breakfast
no where to hang clothes(no wardrobe!!) Room too hot No air con not able to borrow fan! Drawer broken front fallen off! Room not very clean
room tidy and well cleaned tea and kettle provided in room Breakfast was quite alright Staff was helpful Super close to station and amenities
room super warm No chair in room Breakfast ending too early Really bad shower (no pressure and hard to get temp right) Pillows were big and hard and weird
Close to the railway station so easy to find and reach even dragging my luggage. Location close to central London at zone 4 so it's possible to use the one day travel card to access both the overground and the underground and just step across the platform from one to the other at some stations, Stratford and Mile End are examples of ease of transfer from overground to underground in the case of Stratford and from central line to district line at Mile End.
The fried eggs at breakfast were hard an tasted like rubber but the rest of the food was OK. The hotel bar was not exceedingly expensive, but the hotel is close to other drinking holes with cheaper prices and longer opening times; a fine array of eateries all in close proximity make the lack of in hotel dinning, outside of breakfast, acceptable but still it would be better to have the in house option.
Nothing at all
Christ this hotel needa to be renamed .. It should be called cramped ford hotel . the room I stayed in was so tiny that I can't describe. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone .
There is no facilities to keep the dress in the room. There is no air conditioner or fan in the room. I could not sleep during my stay for two days.
I stayed here on two separate occasions as I was working in the area. Both rooms I stayed in were very warm (the radiator had been left on in July!). In one room the bathroom door squeaked very loudly and could be heard down the corridor. When I went to get breakfast in the morning the dining room was full and there was a queue waiting for tables so I didn't have any breakfast.
