Excellent location! Good value considering location & genral price of other London hotels. Continental breakfast is average. Good value. Lonodon was experiencing a heat wave. Rooms are not very well ventilated (no air-con but not expected at this price). |

I liked that there was someone at the front desk 24 hours. I liked that it was close to transportation that lead to attractions. I liked that it was close to food outlets and restaurants. The hotel was extremely hot. Fans were not available. When opening my window it was above the kitchen, so I heard people talking as if they were in my room. My window lead to a fire escape, so I had to close my window at night for safety reasons. |

the lady at the front desk was pleasant the room was like a poor bedsit - it was small for a single but it was a double room. you couldn't turn around in the small shower and the bed was most uncomfortable - the one lift in the hotel takes ages and is small. You get the feeling that every cubic millimetre has been measured for maximum returns on minimum investment. |

Friendly staff and a very conveneient location. The continental breakfast was just what I like. I really missed a kettle in the room to make an early cup of tea. |

The location is excellent and the old world atmosphere is good. The staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to help with any requests. The bedroom decor was poor, the bathroom was very small, the shower was not powerful. |

Very conveniently located for my business trip. Excellent value for money. The decor in the room was a bit dated. B&B rate only include continental breakfast - cooked is extra. |

The room rate was reasonable for London. The hotel is well situated for sightseeing, shopping and eating out with places easily reachable by foot for the moderately fit. The staff are friendly, helpful and straightforward. The rooms are en-suite, large, with adequate storage and kept clean and fresh. Room facilities are minimal : no kettle, tea/coffee, no biscuits, no refridgerator, few power outlets. Small no-frills TV, no bedside radio/alarm, weak lighting. No hotel guide or city guide/information pack. |

All staff were friendly and welcoming. The bedroom and en suite were comfortable. Coffee and tea available in the lounge all day free of charge was welcome. I also appreciated free access to the computer. A bonus was the balcony from our bedroom in which to sit and read. I would have liked a kettle in the bedroom. |

Not wireless. You have to go in lobby to reach connection. Old carpet on floor and room look old and used. |

a very comfortable and warm hotel to walk into, breakfast was in a very nice room with an easy way to choose what we wanted to eat. the chap at reception was very helpful when we needed to know about a bus route. only complaint the beds was too firm, we did a lot of walking and the bed and chairs in the room were too hard to relax on. |

The bathroom fittings were dirty with age. We were issued with one wafer thin pillow each. When I asked for extra pillows, I was told they didn't have any more! By no stretch of the imagination can toast and a sliver of cheese be regarded as a "continental breakfast" |

The staff was very friendly, understanding and helpful. Rooms where comfortable but could have been fitted with newer furniture and sheets (sheets were clean but they seemed to be used a lot). The room given to us was not like the one in the photos on booking.com |

Good water pressure and its location. My immediate reaction about the room itself was that I had went back in time to the 80's. Pink, grey and green everywhere. There were numerous cracks in the sink and toilet bowl. The walls were paper thin and I could hear people getting into and out of their beds. The floorboards creaked, the tv had a miserable 5 english speaking channels that were fuzzy and black and white. |
