Close to all that Torquay has to offer, the Cranmore offers charming family-run guest accommodations with all the benefits of a small hotel, including free Wi-Fi and free parking. Just a few feet from Torre train station and within easy reach of all of Torquay’s amenities and attractions, this non-smoking guesthouse has been awarded a 4-star rating by VisitBritain. The Cranmore is just a short walk from the seafront and Torre Abbey Gardens. The Riviera International Conference Center, and all of its recreational facilities, is also a short distance away and local bus services run frequently to the center of town and the harbor. Free on-site parking is available. All of the charming rooms with private bathrooms are light and nicely decorated. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities, towels, toiletries and hairdryers. For special occasions, there is a lovely 4-poster double room. Free Wi-Fi wireless Internet access is available throughout the guesthouse. There is a comfortable lounge with a TV and DVD player, where you can relax with a newspaper. A generous full English breakfast is included in the price. We booked the Cranmore after reading reviews on the internet. We were on a long weekend break with a large group of friends. This group included young children, teenagers and adults. Beverley and Paul are absolutely fabulous hosts. They made us so welcome, nothing was too much trouble and the whole group had a fantastic stay. If you are looking for clean, friendly good value accomodation in Torquay, this is the place. There is on site parking and local street parking readily available.

A great b&b, you can tell lots of thought has gone into making your stay pleasurable. Hooks in the right places and added extras like hot chocolate and biscuits. We were on the top floor so carrying suitcase up the stairs was a little hard but can't be helped in older buildings. Great breakfast.

4 poster bed room beautiful. friendly service . fresh breakfast. 15 mins walk from seafront and very close to Torre train station. thoroughly enjoyable overnight stay. The only very minor complaint would be there could have done with more shower gell in the bathroom.

Excellent pleasant stay. Lovely owners. Room was gorgeous and very clean. Loved the trusting of the honesty bar. The breakfast was cooked to perfection. Would definitely go and stay there again and would recommend.

We recieved a very warm welcome, were shown to our room and invited to enjoy a cup of tea in the lounge. The room and indeed Cranmore was spotless. Everything we needed was supplied. Breakfast was superb with a good variety of food and we were also afforded the opportuntiy to have an evening meal which was excellent and good value. The drinks tray in the lounge in the evening was a particularly nice touch along with the newspapers. Nothing was too much trouble and we made to feel very welcome. We would have no heitation to return or to recommend Cranmore to others. Noisy neighbours who had locked themselves out!

Very pleasant stay in this comfortable small family-run hotel. It is close to Torre station and there is an excellent bus service into Torquayand beyond.Delightful hosts who were caring and helpful.Strongly recommended.

The bed was excellent. Best night s sleep ever. The room was small, very small but tastefully furnished that u Wud never realise it was a child's space. The beach was only a mile away and the abbey was less than a mile. Excellent breakfast( very high quality) . If not for the space issue I would say 5 stars for the cranmore. To top it all, very lovely hosts. The shower cubicle was tiny. I'm a size 12 yet I struggled to bend down to clean my toes. My partner is an extra large person and he struggled to even squiggle in the cubicle.

Even if the room was small, it was very well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was fairly good. The hotel is 20 minutes far (walking distance) from the city centre, a cab will cost you 5£.

our stay was a fab... staff excellent and the rooms spotless. The breakfast was yummy and the guest lounge was awsome, packed with board games and dvd's, massive flat screen tv. Would highly recommend the Cranmore. Will defrinately be staying again.
