Cranston House

Very comfortable, lots of nice touches in room like toiletries, face cloth, biscuits and fridge with cans of pop in it at 50p. Slept well with black out curtains and comfortable bed. Lovely cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Good free parking also.

Nothing really. Except I would like to stay here with my whole family but unfortunately they don't accept children under 9.

Cranston House was as comfortable as any luxury hotels. There were thoughtful and kind touches throughout my stay with great attention to detail. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Nothing negative to say except that I would like to bring my whole family to stay but they don't accept children under 9. I understand the reasoning but think that the age could be lower to over 4 so that you don't disturb other guests with crying babies.

Friendly helpful staff. A booklet in each room giving you more information than you can imagine. The rooms were incredibly clean. Nothing was too much trouble. I was made to feel so welcome. I could not find a fault with the place

Comfortable and friendly. Well cooked breakfast. A bit like home from home.

I did wake up cold in the night but realised there were extra blankets, so soon got warm again. Not sure if my heater was on in the morning, but there was a fan heater in the bathroom that was efficient.

Owner allowed us to gain entry to our room when we arrived at 11.30 a.m., which was appreciated as we had to change for a wedding.

Beginning to look a bit shabby and tired. A redec would help.

I had a very pleasant stay at Cranston House. The house clean and comfortable. Brian and Aileen were very friendly and made me feel at home. The breakfast was lovely. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

In a quiet location but close to town. A lot of care taken to get most things right., i.e guest info. cleanliness etc.

too many rooms crammed into a small a small area. Creaking floors. We were almost frightened to walk about for fear of disturbing people in the room below. We could hear that the room next door had the same problem!

The hosts are charming and helpful. Very clean and two chairs in our room (surprising how many doubles have only one chair) good bed and view over the garden.

The shower/toilet room was very narrow.

Het ontbijt wordt met veel tam-tam de avond tevoren aangeprezen en je moet een formulier met wensen invullen en keuzes maken. In de uitgebreide keuze (£ 7.00) heb je niks bijzonders vergeleken met ontbijt bij andere B&B's voor vergelijkbare prijs. Betrekkelijk veel poeha dus rond dit ontbijt. Maar verder wel in orde hoor!

Excellent hotel, très bon service, bon rapport qualité prix. Hotes accueillants et arrangeants (Nous avions un horaire d'arrivée en dehors des plages normales, et tout s'est bien passé). Le buffet "continental" était varié.

Pas de petit déjeuner anglais quand nous y sommes allés, mais c'était temporaire

Voor ons was alles naar wens,mooie kamer,goed ontbijt(bijbetalen),parkeermogelijkheid voor Cranston House. Zeer rustig gelegen,15km gelegen van Hever Castle. Verschillende restaurantjes in het dorp op 10 minuten wandelafstand.

Lovely location. Comfortable and cosy and great for local wildlife. Very welcoming.

Nothing significant. Shower was cold in the morning and I forgot to let the staff know about it. I would go again.
