Very pleasant setting in wooded grounds, very helpful and pleasant staff with good food to eat. The full english breakfast was a delight in the taste and flavour, not to forget just about the best porridge this side of the Scottish Border. |

Excellent, friendly and helpful reception upon arrival, and during stay. A large, well appointed and comfortable room. Spacious and well maintained gardens which we particularly enjoyed ( a splendid array of bedded flowers upon the approach to the entrance); and a very good sized and well run swimming pool and leisure centre. Yes, the very limited menu for dinner ( although the food itself was very good). Also the restaurant staff were somewhat amareurish, albeit very friendly. |

Rooms are very nice, even the standards are nice 'n big, all the facilities are excellent, especially the gym/pool. Food was atrocious. Truly terrible. Drinks were severely overpriced - £2 for a glass of Post-Mix Coke, and £4.70 for a pint of Grolsch lager? |

The bathroom was lovely, the bed was comfy, the setting is nice. Lampshades stained in room, and carpets.Carpets and decor on stairs tatty, threadbare in places.Poor staff levels took us 40 mins to check in !! Pool area, spa stunk of drains and sewage. This is an infection risk as water not draining away properly.Tiles missing, tatty, smelly NOT 4 * level at all. |

Very comfortable room & environment. Nice breakfast also. It's a little bit difficult to find the hotel at first place. Maybe if there is some GPS coordinates provided would help. |

hotel room very comfortable and surroundings beautiful good location and access to city The tree stump in the car park that has been sawn off just above ground level needs removing or painting white as it is not visible at night when reversing into gap. We hit it and it dented the chasis of our new VW Passat. |
