Overall quality all that was on offer; the hosts, comfort and cleanliness, facilities, information folder, the food. I can't think of a negative. Excellent value for money. Thought and care shows in the attention to detail and customer care.
The additional thoughtful things we found in our room, like showergel supplied, shower cap etc. Andy and Dena were friendly and helpful and helped to make our trip to Swansea enjoyable. Best wishes, Jenny and Ann
Deana and Andy were friendly and chatty. We were offered a choice of two rooms and I chose number 6 at the back, with a great sea view. The building has a lovely faded charm and is well situated, walking distance from good eating places.
Once the heating went off at night it was very cold. There were several sizeable wet patches on the walls above the bed. We mentioned these to the owners who told us that the roof had just been repaired and the room was drying out. I really think it should have been taken out of use while it dried. Don't park your car outside, as advised by the owner. The first morning we got a £35 ticket and the second morning someon's car, left in the same spot, had 2 windows broken. We were offered a choice of timeslot for breakfast which might not suit everyone. We chose 9.30.
-Staff gentle but not always available -Breakfast cooked to order but apple juice no refilling
-Water not warm for shower -Wifi always discontinued -Quilt not clean enough -We arrived at 15:30 but no body there and could not enter the main door while it was raining heavily -Credit card not accepted
Extremely clean , good breakfast , very accomadating, good sized bed.
I travelled alone an I had never been to the area but the owners were extremely helpful and super nice. I had a room with an incredible view and extremely comfortable. The location was excellent a little was from the beach and the centre of the city.
Sadly, the walls were semi-thin and I could hear someone snoring all night long. Couldn't sleep the last two nights but they have a great TV set and comfortable bed so I wasn't bothered.
Visiting Swansea Uni for an open day. Location was ideal as uni, beach and city centre were within walking distance. This meant we could get a good feel for the area in which she may end up living. Owners were friendly and welcoming, giving helpful advise when we asked. Breakfast was excellent - set us all up well for the day!
Everything Go as a guest and leave as a friend Breakfast Imaginative décor Phil & Janette the hosts
Position, room & breakfast. Hosts very friendly & informative. Size of breakfast perfect & excellent quality.
Warm welcome from very pleasant proprietors.Sea view as described with comfortable, clean room and bed.Good shower.Very nice breakfast before departure.
There is nothing that I did not like about The Crescent.
Despite a mix up with booking (our mistake) the room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was firm but lovely to sleep on. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked. Taxi cost £4.50 from the railway station and bus stops were about 5 mins away. Eating options nearby too.
The noise of next doors bathroom, although not loud, could be heard. There is a house of students opposite who were quite noisy when going out/leaving.
A good standard of accommodation. Friendly. Well located.
Friendly owners, made you feel at home. Spacious, comfortable room with lovely views across the city and Swansea Bay. Good location close to plenty of restaurants & local shops, and just a 10-15min drive from the Gower Peninsula.
Not the easiest place to find if you don't know the area.
Really nice people, lovely room with a great view
Great view of the sea. Warm welcome from the owner. Very comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Lots of leaflets of what's avialble to see and do locally.
Bathroom reeked of bleach on arrival. It made me feel sick.
Warm welcome and very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.
Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The owner/managers where very friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast and excellent all round value.
Unable to leave bags there before check-in time (16.00). Couldn't get Wi-Fi signal a lot of the time, then couldn't get it to work when I did.
The room was large with amazing views across rooftops to the sea, the distant docks and even more distant hills. Everything was spotlessly clean.
The breakfast wasn't great. They serve tinned tomatoes! And they don't know how to make hot chocolate. On our second (and last) morning they followed the instructions on the drum of hot chocolate to produce a proper cup, but I got the impression that they intended to revert to their old way of making it, which uses mostly water, for future customers.
Room was comfortable & clean
No one in, when arrived at 9 p.m. Owners returned saying they'd been out for a meal & left a note on window. No apology, suggested they'd tried to leave a message (none received), they then suggested I'd provided wrong details. Found their response distressing, which impacted on my stay & sleep. Hair dryer a fire hazard. TV 12inch Max.
Clean, friendly, extra additions on hand if anything forgotten. Easy access to B&B and en suite. No concerns with parking - on street we preferred. Breakfasts' were very good - low on fat, good presentation - size/ quantity. Felt well catered for, and an interest in our preferences/ travels.
Great hospitality, a lovely room and beutifully cooked breakfast.
I had a very nice room with comfortable bed lovely view at night all the lights of Swansea, the breakfast was excellent and the owners were so friendly and helpful.
There was nothing to dislike.
The view, the bed, the wonderful clean room and hotel. The hosts were marvellous and helpful.
The breakfast was nice but it would have been great to have fresh tomatoes in the full breakfast.
Room with wonderful view over Swasea and the sea.
One of the owner seems to be a little bit unprofessional. He entered our room without knocking, told us to go out although we want to rest in the afternoon after we arrived after an exhausting drive with the car the day before and returned late in the night from a concert on that same day. We prefer to spend our holidays the way we want. But maybe I don't understand the whole concept of B&B and book into a hotel the next time.
