I was traveling with my partner, we had a warm reception at Crescent Guest house, Rita was there to welcome us, she was great giving good explanations about the Bath and what to do around the city. The room was cosy and peaceful, breakfast is a must, absolutely fantastic!
Very clean, excellent breakfast and pleasant owner
Space in room/ bathroom is very tight however it's adequate if all you are doing is using room to sleep
I will not recommand
Service very bad
Very kind attention, lovely ambience and exclent breakfast
The room was perhaps too small for two.
very friendly host gave us lots of information about Bath. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was very good. There was a great selection on the cooked breakfast menu. Would definitely recommend if anyone is planning on visiting bath. We will definitely stay there again next time we are going to Bath.
Excellent location for the Crecent & city centre.
Traffic noise as on main road. Needed ear plugs.
Host was friendly and breakfast was great. Lovely food, around a communal table with great conversation. Walking distance to town
We had a tiny room at the top of a winding staircase. Quite a challenge with suitcases.
Bed was very comfortable. Main road location but noise was not a problem. Breakfast was good.
I'm very sorry to say that I greatly regret wasting money on this b&b. It says you can arrive from 11am, but I also phoned the previous evening to say I'd arrive between 12.30 and 1pm. However, when I arrived the owner wasn't there. The cleaner was in but didn't seem to be expecting me. Cleaner phoned owner who arrived 5 mins later, but said I couldn't go to my room as the cleaner was still in there. No apology, and no graciousness in her manner. Next day on returning to room neither my bed nor my towels had been tidied, and the tea bags had not been replenished. The owner was never around, so I had to phone to ask for more tea bags. Breakfast on second day - milk was off. As a guest I felt uncared for, and hugely regret spending rather a lot (2 x £80) on staying here.
Rita the owner was very welcoming and informative.the standard of cleanse ness was excellent and the location was only a 10 min walk to the places of interest
We stayed in a room at the front of the house and the traffic gave me the worst nights sleep ever.the room was small and would have suited a single bed rather than a double.
Good breakfasts Clean room Good location
Small room Noise from main road Cramped breakfast room
Room clean, comfortable, quiet. Good location. Good breakfast for guesthouse
The single room's bathroom is very small.
Bed was comfortable
Couldn't check in between hours of 2pm and 6pm as owner wanted to go out, said she could leave a key with a neighbour, eventually got checked in at 8.30pm, asked about breakfast as had to leave at 7.30am to get to another job. Was told no, no cooked breakfast before 9am!! Offered tea and toast and cereal but I wasn't offered a refund. Wont be staying again
The room was very clean and the traditional interior design was quite charming. The location was also convenient
The service was quite poor and the shower did not work properly (at least on the top floor)
The location was great with a level walk to town. The B&B was only 10 minutes away from everything we wanted to see. Rita was very informative upon arrival giving us lots of information about local attractions and gave us a map of the area. The room was attractively presented. The breakfasts were also very good with a choice of what we wanted.
The room was quite small and we were constantly moving the one chair which was placed at the foot of the bed. The addition of a chair in the room was not necessary as you could not position it to see the tv in any case. The wardrobe was very small and contained other items on the shelving such as an extra fan heater, even though there was a fan in the room already and there was stuff at the bottom of the wardrobe We would have made use of the underbed drawers, however these were full of other personal items, i.e. clothing so we had to leave our stuff in the case which we had to put on top of the wardrobe as we couldn't put our smallish case in the underbed drawer.
Friendly staff and good location
The room was very small and no worth the money
We stayed one night here - Rita was lovely and welcoming, it was clean and pleasant and a fantastic breakfast with a decent sized menu for a b&b. Would go here again if we come to bath for a short break. Reasonable price and short, easy walk from centre, nice and quiet. There was a fan in the room which was good on the summer night. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
Room was quite small and as it was an attic room, my tall partner found it a bit difficult. Not enough to put us off coming again though
Came down to Bath from London with my mum, celebrating my bday. Great place, nice room, pretty decoration, space well distributed. Nice breakfast.
Breakfast was nice but for coffee - if you are an usual coffee drinker, i.e. italian coffee
Location, staff, fantastic breakfast. Rita, our landlady, was superb
Good local knowledge.
Nothing to add.
Very clean. Well appointed. Nice ensuite. Wonderful breakfast. Lots of choice. Cooked food very nicely prepared. Nice white linens. Walk to Roman baths 15 minutes, to royal cresent 5 minutes. Owners very friendly.
Room was very tiny. No place to put a suit case.
Rita at the Crescent Guest House is very welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast was lovely and varied and our room although a bit small was extremely clean and very cozy.
We did not stay long enough!
The location was good for getting into Bath and it was also near The Crescent. At breakfast we all sat round the same table which was interesting and the breakfasts were fine.
We found our double room was too small for two, would have been better as a single room.
Excellent breakfast. All very clean.
Room very small Toilet/shower combo not so convenient. Drains didn't seem to work properly.
Food excellent-atmosphere at brakfast very conducive to chatting to other guests. Owner very welcoming.
Room a bit small.
