The bed was comfortable; the heating was good. The member of staff tried, but he appeared to be on his own day and night. The entrance hall carpets were dirty; there was no bedsite light. There was a tv but it was so close to the bed you could not watch it. The window handle was broken in the bathroom. The breakfast was limited. We had 2 rooms and my colleague's room, the shower was smelly. |

The bed has been very comfortable. The breakfeast has been at 7.30 which is too early to wake up on a saturday. The price was a bit high, given that the room has been very basic. |

We stayed because I could not find any hotel accomodation in the centre. Very nice gentleman who recieved us Very dated, a lot of dust on shelves in our room opposite front door.A Lot of banging from upstairs. Very basic.Stains on the duvets and carpet . Had problems with the tv which had to be sorted out. A nice building central to Exeter with the potential to be vey nice but will require a lot of money spending to make it up to date |

Close to high street. Think it was overpriced. Evidence in shared bathroom was that it may not have been cleaned in 3 days I stayed - scum and 'small hairs' in bath; had to use dirty shower in another room as mine out of order; dated decoration... I understand it was during renovation but price did not reflect this - left my room on final day to find an enourmous cloud of dust and half the ceiling missing! |

The convenient location for exploring Exeter on foot. Cramped bathroom. Total lack of charm and any attempt at creating a welcoming ambience - no colour in the room, no pictures on the walls, no flowers. Breakfast very basic. I stayed in cheaper B and Bs on my trip that were much more comfortable and atmospheric, and provided more than cornflakes and toast for breakfast. |

It was very quiet, and we were left to our own devices, which was perfect. The website directions were incorrect, and it took some time to find |

Breakfast was okay. The caretaker was helpless. A stay best not to remember. Please remove this hotel out of the listing - It didn't had basic facilities like - Dustbin, Kettle, Water jug, Tumblers, bathroom -not clean. Carpet is very very old. Central heating was not working. |

The room was small and basic, but the staff was very kind. The street number is not included in their contact address. So it took me a while to find it. |

Närheten till buss och järnväg och alla kanaler på TV och John som tog emot oss var mycket mån om sina gäster så vi kan gärna tipsa fler om att använda detta centralt belägna B/B alternativ |
