Lovely hotel on the Crescent. Big rooms with comfy beds and a large bathroom. Everything was very clean and the staff was very nice. The full English breakfast was very good. Thanks!
Didn't have a lift which made moving the luggage a bit difficult but not the end of the world. The wifi was a bit patchy as well.
We enjoyed the charming room and the building itself, the access to Euston station, since we were headed Northwest on a train, and the lovely area to stroll in, including the park across the street. Friendly staff, good breakfast.
Anyone traveling in Britain needs to get ready for lovely historic locations that have stairs. I am sure the staff would have helped, but the climb up the stairs after a long day was daunting.
location for my meeting
all the rest
Location close to main stations. Beautifully clean and good size rooms with comfy beds. Great breakfast.
good place in the central of london to live
If you need easy access to King's Cross/St Pancras, you're hard pressed to find a better location or better value for money. As a bonus, British Museum is about 15 minute walk away.
There can be noise from the street, although the hotel is in a surprisingly quiet crescent somewhat out of the way of partying pubgoers.
Quiet, comfortable room. Close to shops/restaurants. Reasonable value for London
Perfect and safe location (near the station, the underground and the center), kind staff, clean room, wifi available.
Bathroom shared (but it's very clean).
Excellent location for train stations and the West End Theatres. Staff friendly and helpful.
It is delightfully incongruous. You could be in Yarmouth, Paignton or Cleethorpes but outside is residential slightly posh Camden trying to be normal in the centre of Europe's greatest metropolis. 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross, Euston and St Pancras. Some good pubs nearby.
Carrying a bag up three tight uneven angled staircases was fun, as was the walk up four floors after breakfast. And chichi it ain't.
My daughters and I stayed for one night so that we could attend the theatre. The only negative I would say is the breakfast wasn't great but it was ok.
There is no lift and since I arrived at late evening there was nobody from the staff except night administrator, a women with a back pain and reluctant to help with any requests.
Decent bed and room. Very nice friendly staff. Good breakfast (though I am not a fan of baked beans for breakfast). Very good location, close to 2 major train/ underground stations. Overall a good experience.
Great location, service, atmosphere
No a/c (would be noticeable only during the hottest of summer), water pressure in the toilet is subject to unpredictable pattern. Sometimes took over 10 attempts to flush.
great location, super friendly and helpful staff, tastefully decorated, very clean, good breakfast; excellent value for money; fully recommended!
internet connection was a bit slow
Everything! The beds are great, the bathroom is big, the breakfast, the location!
Low price, breakfast, location
Small bathroom, cramped room
Staff were amazingly helpful and sorted me out when some quirk of the internet landed me with a booking on the wrong day-the room was very clean and comfortable, . I'd definitely stay again, great hotel
I couldn't find an air con. The full English was a bit small but there seemed like plenty of the continental
Fantastic service in a great location.
-Close to Kingcross sta. Easy to get on tube with a big suitecase - relatively cheap in London -friendly staff -relatively good breakfast -clean shared bathroom
-Floor of room#21 where I satayed is totally sloping!! The bed is placed to be horizontal, so sleeping in it should be fine but you can't keep standing on the floor because it's sloping!!! If you think about booking a room with shared facility I recommend you to check with the hotel if your room is not sloping in advance. I wanted to book a room with bathroom but I couldn't as it's sold out.....
Location, good bed
Bathrooms a bit poorly decorated, no lift.
Cheap rate; value for money
Not enough capacity in breakfast room; customers were queing for a table; customers were sharing table/chairs;
Comfortable room. Maid did a great job of cleaning.
No elevator and my room was up many flights of stairs. No one there to help me with my suitcase.
