The stay had to be cut short and money refunded for one night as there was a large group of troublemakers in the hotel and staff did not deal with the situation or call the police until the problems had been going on for hours. I expected the group to have been asked to leave when they first became abusive to guests at the hotel. In addition to this, although the room was relatively clean, the bathroom appliances were covered in limescale and there was not much hot water.

Very easy to have family/friends to meet us here Best Western Cresta Court Hotel is in Altrincham not Manchester. Very, very annoying to be given a map for Manchester when I asked for a town centre map of the town I was in.

Noisy! Noisy hotel, extractor fans inside room and outside window, stupid ignorant guests arriving (sober) at 3am and talking at full volume till 4am in the corridor (activating the light which illuminated our room under our door) no soundproofing. Calls to reception to deal with it; some acted on, others just left to ring. Shower was faulty so flooded bathroom. Just dreadful. No sleep at all. Wrote complaints on their customer comments cards and spoke to reception in the morning. The following day they emailed and offered an upgrade on our next stay. Rest assured that this is an offer we will not be taking up. I have travelled the world and this stay was in the top 5 most terrible experiences in a hotel.

The people in the Cresta Court are the hotel's main asset. Helpful and welcoming they were a pleasure to deal with. Room service is fast Rooms are very basic, wifi worked only very sporadically although free wifi was one of the hotel's main selling points. Breakfast lacked anything for those of us who don't eat fried foods or pastries - would have been nice to have a fruit salad, fresh juice, cheese

The hotel is really nice and located on the main road into Altrincham so easy to find. The main railway, tram and bus station is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There is a good restaurant at the hotel but also a Wetherspoons pub in the main street nearby if you fancy an alternative and cheaper place to eat. The local shops inlcude 'House of Fraser' but the tam into Manchester is just a 30 minute ride.

Staff were great, especially in the restaurant, the food was extremely well prepared and served with class The bed was awful, and the state of the extra quilt was a discrase, it came with old blood and urine stains and although I made this clear to the reception staff and left contact details and a complaint, heard nothing, this is not a good hotel for business, Travelodges and Holiday Inns from now on.

The larger rooms are slightly more expensive but very good value I heard some doors banging very loudly in the night on a couple of nights. I am not sure if these were the fire doors or doors to people's rooms

Excellent location and room facilities. Room is clean although being not sound-proof. Friendly staff. Being waken up at 7:50 in the morning by a window cleaner, cleaning from the outside!!! Room was not sound-proof at all, you can literally hear every sound coming from the next door, as if we were in the same room. Extra charge for car park.

The only complaint I have is regarding service pre-arrival. We were going to a wedding at the hotel at 2pm and emailed beforehand to see if we could get into our room at 1pm. The staff would not guarantee anything before 2pm even though we pointed out that surely one double room must be ready by then! However, when we arrived they were in fact very helpful.
