Car Park! Easy access to Metrolink, this was a football trip to see Utd at Old Trafford. Excellent breakfast, all staff friendly and helpful. If I was really "picky" I'd say the bar lacked ambiance, a bit like a waiting room - this does not detract from the staff who were very friendly.

Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The bedroom was`very clean, comfortable and in very good repair (which was`not the case for the 4* hotel that I had stayed at for the previous 7 nights in Malta - where I had to pay 90 euros to upgrade to a comfortable bed!). Breakfast was`not included in the room rate but was reasonably priced and there was plenty of variety.

Rooms were clean and comfortable Stayed for one night on 25th December.. Had phoned 3 times and was told there would be a full snack menu. On arrival, was told only sandwiches ( ham or cheese) were available at £ 5 each. One guest asked for soup and was told that the chef would not oblige. He eventually got a plate of chips! We went to bed hungry as there was nothing open in Altrincham

The stay had to be cut short and money refunded for one night as there was a large group of troublemakers in the hotel and staff did not deal with the situation or call the police until the problems had been going on for hours. I expected the group to have been asked to leave when they first became abusive to guests at the hotel. In addition to this, although the room was relatively clean, the bathroom appliances were covered in limescale and there was not much hot water.

Possibly the worst stay we've ever experienced in over 500+ hotels stayed in. The level of noise from other rooms around us made sleep impossible until our "neighbours" turned their tv off at 2.00am on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The bar on Christmas Eve was like God's waiting room at 9.00pm, even the barmaid was bored and turned the tv up so she could watch Eastenders! We got back to the hotel at 9.00pm on Boxing Day after a lovely family day with relatives when we discovered there was a large party on in the downstairs suites. The lift had become a beer bottle depository and "spare" toilet!! The noise and language outside our room was disgusting and was still going on at 6.00am!! I was told when I complained that others had said the same and the police had been in attendance twice during the night ... how that was meant to help me sleep I don't know!! Whatever you do don't consider staying here unless you enjoy pulling shattered glass out of your shoes!

I stayed at the Cresta Court mainly because of the location. In Altrincham you do not have many choices however. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good. We ate there a few times and on Christmas day. Only had a choice of twin or double bed. As a married couple we ended up chosing twin beds because we couldn't sleep together in a double when we have slept together for 30 years in a King bed. Also the room we had was very small and could have used an ice box. Most hotels we stay in, however small, have a small fridge in the room.

“Fantastic hotel! Didn't know what to expect because of the price - what a suprize!!! Immaculate, comfortable beds, stunning bathroom and temperature control in the bedroom . . . couldn't of asked for better! Didn't eat in the bistro so couldn't comment on the evening meal, however, breakfast was lovely. Just 20 minutes away from the Trafford Centre and a few minutes away from Warrington retail park. Great for a shopping trip!” Jodie, Southport |
