Best Western Cresta Court Hotel Manchester

The food in Detoris restaurant was excellent, good choice and friendly staff. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpfull. Nice bar area to sit and do some work or chill out with a pint.

Location good, Metrolink 5 minutes walk, City Centre 20mins on Metro. Good breakfast busy on weekends. One of the only hotels in Manchester with late availability (maybe this was bad sign in hindsight). Free plentiful parking

Themed nights seem a speciality resulting in noise from downstairs until 1.00am + . We stayed while Xmas parties on very noisy..not for kids or early flights I'm afraid (at weekends anyway). Close to main road windows not very soundproof. Should put non party goers on top floor for some peace. Sunday breakfast very crowded (small room for guest numbers).

Friendly staff on check in and easy parking. Location conveninent for my meeting and good breakfast

Room needs modernising, bathroom fittings mouldy and worn, walls grubby and carpet worn and frayed. Furniture very worn and in general the whole hotel looks like it needs updating. Bed/pillows extremely uncomfortable so much so it aggrevated a back injury. Bar closed at 6.15 which was unusual but we did have the option of then drinking at hotel restaurant. not consistant pricing poicy, my colleagues room rate was £59 and mine £65 which I now have to explain on expenses.

I booked a car park offsite but we had to park onsite. We then contacted the car park who wanted a voucher, the hotel didn't know what this was. We parked onsite and it was all ok. When we went down for breakfast they said we weren't down to have breakfast so I had to contact the travel agent. The girl who greeted us in the restaurant then came back and said it was an error! We then got back to the airport and phoned up to be collected and they had us down to be picked up a day later so were confused, who knows how they got the dates wrong after I confirmed our flight details when arriving.

Lack of organisation

I had requested a room in a quiet area of the hotel but our room actually looked out onto the area with the central heating pipework which started up at about 6.30 in the morning and also until quite late at night.

Everything we needed in the room and the breakfast was well prepared and plenty of it.

There were strange lumping noises during the night which woke us up a couple of times.

Sleeping. Widescreen TV in room. Free WiFi

Lack of Aircon in rooms. Poor choice and overcooked breakfast.

Nothing stands out except it was very clean.

You cannot get a full English breakfast served in the room.

Located within walking distance of the ice rink and was clean and warm

Did not get a response when we phoned to reception for a hot chocolate sachet for a child who was thirsty. Person who greeted us at breakfast was unintelligible and where were left waiting not knowing what to do.

Good location, no fuss in administration, cheerful friendly staff throughout. Value for money. Food well presented

Convenient to Old Trafford and Manchester Airport with with easy access to City on tram.

Friendly & efficient welcome, good room, looked after when using function suite & good breakfast

Staff at breakfast could have been a little friendlier although they were very busy.
