It was a great place to stay, everything is clean, the staff is helpful and they have a nice garden where you can smoke and maybe invite some friends for a couple of hours. We booked a twin room because no double room was available, but we moved the beds so they were placed one besides the other, so there are no worries if you cannot find a double. The bathroom and the room itself are kinda small but this is not something that bothered me. The location is great, 2 minutes away from the King's Cross underground station
I think i would give 3 stars out of 5 for the breakfast but hey, i wouldn't expect anything more than what we got for the money we payed
Location , Buffet Breakfast , Friendly Staff
Small but clean Room Very close to King Cross st Pancras
Heating was swithched off when arrived... a little cold
Very friendly staff, clean, perfect location, good quality and price. I will book it again
Great location, lovely, helpful staff.
The bathroom ( wet room) was bordering unacceptable. The sink had extensive marks ( rust?) which could not be cleaned. The general state of walls and sanitary ware was shabby and gave the appearance of being unclean, although it was clear that someone had tried! The window was rattly and loose and consequently the room was freezing. Overall, way overdue a complete refit.
Super friendly staff. Modern comfortable room. Location could not be beaten. Simple fuss free breakfast.
Nothing really...maybe a few hand towels would be handy.
location very good friendly staff breakfast was very good value and plenty available what ever time you arrived. clean and comfortable beds. room was always warm even though it was very cold .
no curtain or blind at the bathroom window, also the fan was broken causing a great draught. shower was dirty and paint peeling off the ceiling. taps on hand basin were dirty . The wet room was in need of a full refurbishment .
Hotel is located just opposite Kings Cross St. Pamcreas ststin. Our triple room was clean and spacios, located on ground floor. Kettle is very small but no issue as long as there is one provided .Staff was helpful, made simple takeaway breakfast for us as we had to catch a Eurostar train at 7.30am. Appreciate it.
No floor towels but we could ask for it.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient for Kings Cross and St Pancras. Room was quiet and limited space was well organised.
Clean room and ensuite, very good location, late check in, good noise reduction.
Room was incredibly hot on arrival, lack of lift is inconvenient when staying on 3rd floor and the staircase is narrow for carrying suitcases up.
We were expecting no thrills which to a certain extent it was, but the room and beds were extremely comfortable and very clean. Had an early Eurostar train and they provided us with sandwiches and drinks to take with us.
No lift and quite difficult to negotiate all the stairs with heavy suitcases.
The welcome from the staff and dog. Convenient location. Good breakfast. Room good
Lack of lift smells in corridors noise level
- WiWi - location
- small room without adequate heating - cold bathroom with non closing window on sky side; shower so-so - You must finish with breakfast excatly at 09:30 a.m - Avoid the hotel if you want to enjoy in London
Loved the area, so close to the train station...Loved Jack the dog the hotel pet
Close to Kings Cross, but far enough from traffic noice Walking distance to Bloomsbury and great restaurants close on Marchmont street Room (for 3) surprisingly spacy Very friendly staff
Room on first floor and slight rumbling of underground can be heard during night, did not disturb our sleep though
had a really great time in the hotel. The staff was so friendly that I can't say nothing negative about it. The breakfast was good and rooms comfortable .
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.
Single rooms, bathrooms in particular, are very small. Access could be a problem for some people but I think that is acceptable if you need a reasonably priced room with breakfast in London.
The staff was ok
When i first entered at the hotel, the staff were welcoming with a smiley face. And he was telling me that the hotel just refurbished. I was at the first floor, at night i was really tired and went to bed, at midnight i began to scratch my face and woke up. When i turned the lights on, i saw many bugs on my pillow and duvet. At that time, no matter i paid the hotel, wanted to get out of that hotel but i was too late to do. The breakfast is worse than ever. I would never advise this"refurbished hotel" to my friends.
The staff came to wake me up (forgot to set alarm clock) -- they knew I was about to miss my train.
the location of this hotel is excellent only 2 mintues walk to king cross and st Pancaras room is compact but comfortable fine for a 3 night stay Breakfast is good and plently of choice if you like continal breakfast. Staff are friendly and no request is any trouble. the front door is locked at all times and there is buzzer system to get into the hotel and their is always someone on rececption.
the bathroom was very small every thing seemed to be squezzed in.
Proximity to st Pancras was perfect.. Breakfast great . Steep stairs to our top room well worth the climb.. Staff very welcoming will stay there again
The staff were excellent. The room though was small but clean. The breakfast was substantial with as much as you wanted and the serving staff were efficient and pleasant. The location could not have been better for Eurostar or for the Piccadilly Line to Heathrow or for King's Cross. Over all I was very pleased the the accommodation and the price.
There was an extremely unpleasant smell outside my room. Sewers? Garbage? It immediately hit me when I walked out the door to the Breakfast room . I was in Room 3 in the basement. I did complain to the receptionist twice but nothing was done. It was really a nasty smell.
location cleanliness room facilities help with luggages in the stairs
stairs would prefer english breakfast
Staff at the reception and location
Cleaness, the bed and towels are somhow dirty,, The sheet somhow clean but under it very obvious yiu can see the hair that belong to other people
