I stayed at the hotel with my family for 5 nights to explore London. It was a pleasant experience adn I was very happy with it. It was close to the Eurostar and Underground Kings Cross/ St Pancras with plently of shops and restaurants close by the hotel had been recently painted and presented well with tidy rooms and environs. The bathroom was small but adequate and clean. The included breakfast was typical of uk BnB's and very well presented and good quantity'S. There are many other hotels of this typ along the same street of varying quality and I would say that this one presented very well compared to the others. We had a back room which was quiet on the 1st floor. I would stay there again. The beds were seemingly new and comfortablew with good bedding. The only bad point is they are metal frames and several pof the leg support braces had snapped at the weld and made them a little unstable, bu this is a minor point for crrection. Overall I was glad I stayed there adn enjoyed the location for sightseeing and gong to the theatre after spending time in Paris. We caught the eurostar to London and was the reason why we chose this area and this hotel.

It's basic but clean and warm, the location is really good, just few steps away from kings cross. Our room is in near the garden, so we must close the window all the time. And we can hear the nosiy from the kitchen to prepare the breakfast from 3 A.M. The sink is blocked & too much noisy

Stayed before with a friend and felt safe and happy to return. It's so central and though not luxurious, always clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast provided. Good vibe. last time the room was pretty small and needed more hanging space. This time on my own the room was big and plenty space and nice big shower. However there was no bedside light or switch to main light so had to get out of bed to turn it off. Attention to detail such as this, which would have been inexpensive to achieve, would have scored it perfect for my needs. Always seem to have to pay for two when I travel alone which is a shame but it is such good value decided to go for it anyway.

Best value in London! Clean room, not fancy but equipped with everything I needed. I had a basement room, recently remodeled. Looked clean, smelled clean. Comfortable bed with a good mattress - a rarity in London, at any price! Nice warm comforter. Heavy-duty window locks could secure the window closed or slightly open. Heating was adjustable, worked well and quietly. Location near King's Cross/St. Pancras station convenient for transit to any part of London. The area is always busy, so I felt safe when returning to the hotel late. They've just gone to digital TV, had a flat-screen Tv in the room - many channels, perfect reception. Not good if you can't handle steps. There are steps at the entrance, the breakfast room is down a flight of steps. Had to schlep my baggage up and down. One pillow, one towel, rather spartan. Not complaining at this price, though! Breakfast is the typical European Hotel stuff. There's plenty of food - cereal, fruit cocktail, eggs, ham, cheese, bread, juice, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and condiments - so you can be sure you won't go hungry any morning! But I usually went out to get fresh fruit instead.

Fair value for money for the location, but not what I would recommend for a romantic weekend. About 200m from Kings Cross Station, this hotel is a conversion of three town-houses. The majority of residents seemed to be french-speaking tourists. The curtains were not close enough to the wall, allowing considerable light in to the room at night from the adjacent street lighting. There were no net curtains at the window, which was at street level: this meant keeping the main curtains closed for privacy during daylight hours.

Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Not much room to open cases in and as my room faced the yard I had to have the curtains shut all the time so that no one could stare in.

The hotel was so convenient for St Pancras Station. It was warm and comfortable, and provided a budget priced room, for an overnight stay. We had to be up early in the morning for a train trip back home after our holiday and it was perfect for that. The stairs to the rooms can be a bit steep,

The hotel is literally opposite Kings Cross but down a side street so not too noisy. The room was basic but clean and had everything I needed for a night's stay including a cool "wet room" style bathroom. Comfy bed and a good continental breakfast, nothing to complain about. I turned the toaster up as it wasn't browning properly and got severely chastised by a member of staff who couldn't speak English but it was obvious what she meant. As a grown adult I should be able to decide how brown I want my toast. Also, they only have one toasting machine and several people were toasting for their whole family which caused unnecessary queues so maybe invest in an additional toaster.

The hotel has a great location, the staff is great and the breakfast is good for what you pay. The only problem this time was the room. It was in the last floor of the building (no lift), and barely had space for our luggage. The other time I stayed in a bigger room and it was fine. Maybe it's a matter of luck... :)

Accessibility to St Pancras Station. Selected for that reason. As we left before 7am we were unable to benefit from a breakfast. Would be good to offer a packed sandwhich as an alternative

“We were very impressed by the hotel, for the price we paid we expected a bed and not much else, but this hotel is perfect. We stayed for one night, the room was smaller than the usual hotel room but it had a bed, shower/bath and toilet, a TV, a wardrobe. What more do you need for such a low price? The breakfast was a traditional English breakfast with toast and jam, the service was quick and efficient and the food tasted fine, with Tea, Coffee and Orange juice offered. Overall the hotel was clean and friendly during our stay.” Michael, Southampton |
