Old style equipment (retro style), quiet place, fantastic big garden and big room (Rose). Insufficient privacy (we didn´t get the room key, toilet and bathroom was in the hallway - just for one room but you must have clothes to go there). Although you haven´t keys, everytime must ring when return. Bad mattress - very weak, the weighty man lays, second person fall down to him. There was dirty teapot. We was waiting for the owner - we came at 16:00 (check-in time), she was not there and we must call her to come back.

The owner of this guesthouse made us very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and she introduced us to the other visitors. The breakfast was excellent and arranged at a time to suit us. The room was beautifully furnished and decorated with a lovely view and the facilities very good.

Very nice view of the well tended back garden. Excellent location for those looking for an early start on the Eurotunnel which is only 10 mins away. Clean rooms, private bathroom and very good breakfast. If you like classic cars then ask to view the Morgan in the garage.

Friendly, clean, quiet just about everything we wanted. A complaint about my sat nav, don't use it to get to the guesthouse unless you like driving down very narrow lanes. It's easy if you use the instructions given.

Wunderschöner Blick außerhalb Folkestones über die Stadt hinweg auf den Channel. Sehr redefreudige Gastgeberin. Toleranz gegenüber Motorradfahrern nach anfänglicher Skepsis. Umfangreiches leckeres Frühstück! Kein Schlüssel für das Zimmer. Frühstückskosten nicht als Extrakosten erkennbar.

“Welcoming and warm staff. This is a bed & breakfast so you feel like you're a guest in a beautiful private home as opposed to in a stuffy hotel. Very relaxing. Luxurious guest room decor, modern private bath, and simple but elegant made-to-order breakfast. Lovely patio with access to private gardens in the prettiest part of Folkestone, and just a block from the Leas seaside walk. Oh yes, and complimentary cake & tea or coffee, and a glass of wine or beer too. I couldn't ask for more!” Palmer, Buford, Georgia |
