Breakfast meals were excellent and breakfast serving staff very friendly and polite.
WiFi signal very poor.
Convenient location. Easy to find. Free wifi.
location friendliness of staff
Staff were so friendly and helpful. The full English breakfast was fantastic - best we've had anywhere. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Garden was lovely.
Wifi signal was a bit weak in our room at the back. No eateries within walking distance, so we had to drive and had some trouble finding parking.
The bed in Room # 15 is simply one of the best I've ever slept on! My husband and I are big (and heavy) and the mattress was huge and so so comfortable! The windows opened out to the cricket field and the first evening we watched field hockey training and the second soccer. Perfect location for Salisbury sight-seeing and trips to Stonehenge and Avebury Stones and Old Duram.
There were a few stairs involved to get to our room and the breakfast room was a wee bit crowded.
friendly, helpful hosts great breakfast. good value
a little small and some noise
Everything had been thought of for my comfort, except an alarm clock. The accommodation was immaculately clean. The breakfast was second to none. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Initial Welcome: Friendly and helpful. Restaurant : light and airy, excellent food, helpful and friendly staff. Bedroom (12) Very comfy and spacious with nice outlook. Parking : Quire sufficient during our stay.
Not much to dislike. A less-than-fit person might have a problem with the steps up to first floor, but that's all.
Loved the location, the accomodation and the lovely helpful, family running it.
Owners were very helpful and kind.
Friendly staff. Breakfast.
Tiny room. Tiny bathroom
Everything from the minute I arrived to leaving three days later. My room number 10 by the square court yard was a joy. Quiet simple cozy. Breakfast lovely efficiently presented. The whole experience was what one always hopes for and rarely receives.
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Excellent car parking. Great number of spaces and access. No problems in ever being blocked. Very pleasant breakfast area in a large conservatory with good views.
No desk in bedroom. Lowish quality television. Chalet type accommodation with no encouragement to go into the main hotel and use a guest lounge. But not advertised with such facilities and an armchair is provided in the bedroom. Tariff quite high even after discounts. Salisbury tariffs are generally exceptionally high though. Approaching £100 per night in a guest house for a single occupancy. Can find better value in the centre of London. Obviously a lot of tinned fruit used for the breakfasts. Fresh pineapple would be nice too.
Easy to find, a warm welcome. Clean rooms and great breakfast served, making you ready to start any day.
Staff excellent as was breakfast and room
Hotel near main road so had a bit of noise and trouble sleeping.
Outstanding breakfast, friendly staff, clean and tidy, good location
lack of privacy (other guests walking past the window), closet very small and easy to 'burn' yourself on the towel radiator. Pricing strategy - conflict between Booking.com and B&B website.
Big room - big bed - peaceful Great breakfast Great service Friendly and knowledgeable staff Lovely gardens Lots to do round and about Free wifi
Need to drive to any local attractions as just out of town. Good tips from Andrew on parking strategies though.
Personal service and great management. Good parking. Superb breakfast, whether full English or Continental. Very close to the city. We will certainly be staying there again.
As always everything was excellent
Very clean room. supplied antiallergy pillows on request. friendly and helpful. excellent braakfast. View over the cricket pitch was unusual and a pleasant change from the side of a crumbling wall that is the experience in many other
On the outer fringe of Salisbury, although yet the centre is walkable. The motel format of individual rooms was rather 1970s, and it is possible that the glass-fronted rooms may be chilly in winter - though the radiator was a decent size, and to be fair I stayed in summer so had no problems!
The room was wonderful, bright, airy and the bed so comfortable. Everything needed was there including large soft dressing gowns.
Breakfast and friendly helpful staff
On a main road with a lot of traffic. Bathroom needed updating. Not value for money - overpriced.
Very comfortable stay with nice bed. Staff were nice and the waiter for breakfast was very good. Nothing was to much trouble.
The shower wasn't great,no lock on bathroom door either. I also thought position of the television was difficult to watch in bed
Excellent greeting, pitched just right. Given tips to get about Salisbury after finding out what I needed to know. Immaculately clean. Very comfortable, quiet bedroom. Delicious breakfast in large, light conservatory.
