Located in the outskirts of Salisbury, about half an hour walk to the town centre and the Cathedral, and a twenty-five minutes drive to Stonehenge, it is a very convinient place to explore the area. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and rooms are spotlessly clean. Breakfast is also very complete with many kinds of fruits, cereals and juices. It is a most recommendable place indeed.

    Nothing.

Easy access to town by car or bus, pleasant helpful staff, spacious room (overcrowded with furniture), good breakfast.

This was a late booking and we were very limited on hotel choice otherwise we would not normally have considered paying this price for a basic but we'll presented B&B. Being picky - draws could do with a clean as there was dust on clothes stored in them. Very small shower.

Inmidst a lovely landscape but only 10min drive to Exeter downtown. Very friendly hosts who really did care about us. Excellent breakfast; choice of food to be maid by checklist for every single day. Loved to stay there; will come back.

Spacious single room with plenty of storage space for clothes with a comfortable bed and very clean. The bathroom was spacious enough for a single room with shower wash basin with soap plus toilet and again very clean. The breakfast had a very good choice; various fruit juices, tea coffee, various fruit, various cereal, cooked plus toast. The service was polite and prompt.

    Nothing comes to mind.

My wife and I thought the cleanliness of the Cricket Field House was excellent as was the service. The breakfast offering was also very good. As for value, it was average based on the other accomodations we experienced during our 3 week stay in England/Wales.

The staff were really lovely. I live in Germany and to be honest while the people here are polite and friendly, I'd forgotten how welcoming the casual friendliness is. May not be for everyone but I loved it!! We're also extremely helpful. I needed to keep my face cream cool and they kept it in the fridge for me, no questions asked. Would gladly return

To be honest, the hair dryer was rubbish. Have long hair and the hair dryer shorted out about every 2 minutes and took at least 5 minutes before I could use it again. Good job it was about 30 degrees outside so I let the sun dry my hair

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing and the staff very friendly.

Needed a plug in the bathroom for my curling iron but none of our accommodations in the UK had them so it must be an English thing.

We wanted to stay outside the city of Salisbury to avoid urban congestion. We read good reviews of the Cricket Field House and were not disappointed. We stayed on the ground floor and our room was comfortable. I liked the walk-in shower since I have a bad knee. The breakfast was excellent. I cannot say enough about the service and staff. Andy and his parents were marvelous. They were friendly and definitely service-oriented. They called taxis for us to go into the city and also to go to the Victoria and Albert Pub, an excellent country pub. I also liked Snoopy, the dog that Andrew rescued who was in evidence once or twice. I found our stay was memorable and would definitely stay there again if I were in the area. It is only a mile or so outside the city and one has close access to Wilton House especially.

    Nothing.
