Room was well equipped and despite being close to road was quiet. Breakfast was good and the staff at breakfast and check-in /check-out were very friendly. 1 minor point - no bar of soap (for wet shave!), |

The staff were all very nice and helpful. The location is a little inconvenient if you're on foot, but manageable. The upside of being a little out of town is that the rooms are very quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Great location for walking trails that take you up to Old Sarum. |

The staff was very, very helpful. The exterior was beautiful and the interior was very cute. The rooms were probably the best I stayed in while in England (total of 8 so far) and I would recommend staying at a Bed & Breakfast over any hotel and this was a great one. The breakfast was very good. |

Cricket Field House is a lovely place to stay. It is very well appointed and the owners and very friendly and take time to talk to guests. We had a very pretty room. The breakfast is excellent and everything about the place is excellent. We are very glad we booked to stay there! Only downside is that is is near a very busy road, but that should in no way put people off from staying here. The noise level would depend upon where your room was - we were on the side and it was quite noisy, but with the window closed traffic couldn't be heard. |

Great room and lovely breakfast and garden. The hotel proprietor did not make us feel very welcome and said we had arrived too early despite me having said to her in an e mail that we would like to arrive early at 2pm and her answer was "Your room will be ready for 1pm if you need it and once you have checked in you come and go as you please. After she was initially a little sharp - she was then very nice and showed us where to go & sit in the garden, offered us a drink and kindly took our luggage up to our room before showing us to it. Maybe a bad day like we all have! |

The people were very friendly and helpful. The romm was very comfortable even though we would have liked an air conditioner or fan, as it was very warm. |

Very personable, attentive staff; room very large by European standards; comfortable bed with plush sheets & full pillows... I would definitely stay there again. No, this was my favorite hotel (of eight hotels) during my eleven-day England holiday. |

Honestly, everything. The breakfasts were a real treat and the young chap serving was superb at his task. The couple who own the business were truly charming and pleasant and informative regarding the locale.I would go back there in the heartbeat. |

Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The en-suite was very small. The shower cubicle was so small that you banged your elbows. The room furniture was a strange mis-match of colours and poor quality. The blind was torn as was the cover of the armchair, 1 packet of biscuits for 2 people ? Cheap plastic cups and toiletries in the bathroom. This room wasn't cheap, so definately not good value for money. |
