Just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Crieff, The Murray Park is a modern yet homely hotel offering a bar, restaurant and free access to their sister property’s wellness centre.

Hotel is absolutely gorgeous and staff were always very friendly and welcoming.my boyfriend proposed while we were away which means we will definitely stay again. breakfast buffet was amazing and also had a great selection of cereals and yoghurt. Our room was spotless, massive bath/shower,nice and cosy and the bed was unreal so comfortable and massive.
I didn't feel there was enough entertainment at night for younger couples.a pub/bar playing music would of been perfect after a busy day of sightseeing and shopping.our room was smaller than what I expected however we didn't mind as it was spotless, cosy and a lovely view
the accommodation was incredible. We were staying in Leigh 536
The pillows could have been a better quality.
Good hotel facilities: hotel, restaurants, activities for kids, pool Our stay was too short to be able to enjoy everything.
The crowd...very busy time. Felt under pressure to book a restaurant, queued for breakfast, tennis courts fully booked, swimming pool over packed and car parks full!
The treatments in the spa.
Room was small and toilet too high of the ground (neither my sister or I could touch the floor!) First impression was Butlins holiday camp! This was to be a quiet relaxing break. But full of noise kids.
Reception area and restaurants
The carpetted area outwith reception showing age along with sloping floors giving impression of dated property past its best.
The accommodation and service was first class, food fantastic, activities to suit all tastes-----a relaxed ethos.
liked accomodation, was very comfortable, all staff very friendly.room was very clean as this is important to me.
not a great selection on dinner menu, prices quite expensive.couldnt bring my dog along so would be interested in dog friendly accomodation next time.
Food & ambience
Cost excessive - £75/80 more realistic than £119 !
The staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and clean.
Sky TV was advertised but didn't have it. The food was disappointing
Being able to use facilities after having checked out .The room was good and the hotel gardens
Work was being done on the room next door and work noise and bad language was sometimes heard. One time a workman used our window to get access to outside the hotel onto a lower roof
We really liked the room decor and thought the room was very well appointed.
The parking was some way from the hotel when we were there and it was difficult to carry our luggage to and from the hotel.
Food was amazing in both of the onsite restaurants, really relaxed atmosphere and victorian spa was worth the extra money.
The first room we had backed onto the lift shaft which was very noisy so we asked to move rooms. This was done without any problems but we found the beds in both rooms to be very uncomfortable not befitting of the rest of our experience.
The bedroom was lovely and big .
Our bedroom was too far away fromthe main area with no lift to the third floor. We are pensioners and there was a lot of walking.Did not eat much as the food was too fancy. Somewhere to get plainer food would be good. Did not enjoy my stay.
Place was spotlessly clean.
Tried to get into my room early as I was going to a wedding and wanted to get changed there but was told no.
Good staff, Location.
Due to weather and half term hotel could not cope. Only 2 restaurants with 90% wishing to eat at same time. Very small bar area to relax with stressed staff. Not all 300 room numbers are accessible via lifts difficult with luggage. Lift capacity old and limited. Most of hotel is tired but understandable with volume business. Saving grace for hotel is most of its staff who were very helpful under difficult conditions. The kitchens perform miracles. The lodge our friends stayed in was exceptional (it was a new one) would stay in one if we ever visit again.
Staff were excellent, professional, friendly and helpful Huge variety of activities to suit all Restaurants outstanding as was the food and service All employees without exception totally professional and friendly Outstanding grounds to wander around Attention to detail even recognising we were celebrating our 40th Anniversary with special touches
The weather! But everything about the Hydro made that irrelevant
My husband and I had not been at Crieff Hydro for over 30 years. It was a delight to see how they had moved with the times and applied innovative ideas to attract many different groups of people to the Hydro. This is clearly the reason behind the amazing success of this wonderful place. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Well done one and all. ps Having returned to business today, I open the business Scotland magazine to read that Stephen Leckie, CE Crieff Hydro Hotel has won Entrepreneur of the Year. I am not in the least surprised.
Having such a short stay!
The views, the facilities, the comfort of the many places to sit
Food was expensive wherever you ate (unless on an inclusive deal). We could see how excellent a place it is for young families, but when we were there it was overrun with small children as it turned out to be the English October week's holiday - it was, therefore, very noisy indeed.
Everything was good on our first visit.
The check out time. Should be 12pm.
An excellent hotel inna great location with plenty of things to do. The food at the Brasserie was fantastic and reasonably priced.
We hadn't realised that our visit was in the middle of the school holidays, not the hotels fault but there were a lot of kids running about all day and night. The meikle did not live up to expectations. Both starters and mains were over cooked and dry which was a real shame as the flavours were really nice. The Brasserie is by far the better option.
Hotel location ,facilities excellent, very good standard of hotel, all staff very friendly and helpful,we enjoyed our two day visit
As a visitor to many larger hotels we always find that the tariff used in the restaurant and bars are a bit high,we visited the town of Crieff as an alternative during our second day. During our visit we saw a lot of guests in the hotel not having a drink in some areas at night.
Setting and location good. Staff friendly and helpful.
Too large and quite noisy , a lot of children as it must have been half term. Not a very wide menu choice. Breakfast very overcrowded
The Victorian spa The room was lovely
The walks around the grounds of crieff were lovely and the staff were very friendly.
There was renovations going on at the hotel and our room was right in the middle of them, we had work men walking past our window which was not ideal and our bed was very hard. The hotel wasn't that busy and you would have thought that they could have allocated rooms away from were the workmen were, really I should have complained so I kind of blame myself a bit.
Everything, except the TV, hotel worth visiting and we would encourage everyone to visit old and young
Television needing some attention, poor picture and no TV guide
