Everything was perfect!!!!!! The hotel has great location in the marvelous nature. Big room and bathroom. Very beautiful design and interior of hotel gave only positive emotions and relax. The breakfast was really royal!!! All the hotel staff are very nice and friendly.

Lovely place - very tasteful décor, large, comfortable room, pleasant grounds to walk around, views of snow-capped local "Laws" (hills), excellent, innovative food, brilliant breakfast. Young staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to couples looking for a bit of luxury (we were on a wedding anniversary break).

Perhaps a tiny bit too formal in the serving of dinner.

Almost everything. This is our third visit to Cringletie, although the first two were about 12 years ago. We found the experience relaxing and enjoyable although the weather was awful. The breakfast was really good. Dining room staff extremely friendly.

Dinner. Everything was very tasty and portions fine - just as expected. There was one exception however - I chose a halibut main course, which was very tasty but the portion size of the dish was, in my view, extremely small and I don't think represented what I expected from the menu.

Dinner is simply amazing! At £35 its the bargain of the century. Food, service and setting all perfectly complimented each other.

Excellent hotel - lovely attentive staff, room was really nice etc. Superb food including an excellent breakfast.

Attentive service and beautiful public rooms with log fires burning. Excellent cuisine and quality wine served in a grand dining room with elevated views over the grounds. Peaceful location with highland cattle grazing to the rear.

Location, food, facilities and service.

From the moment we parked our car at Cringletie House, we were made to feel welcome and valued guests. Our two night stay was most enjoyable and nothing was any trouble to the staff. Our room was large, comfortable and had all the amenities which we were looking for.

Booked a superior room and was given a disabled room, not what I expected

Flattered to deceive, I thought the restaurant was over rated and expensive for what is was.

Very comfortable,nice surroundings,staff very friendly and attentive,would recommend to anyone.

Main menu would benefit by having some simple dishes.

Excellent hotel, the food is a bit expensive but what a treat and location wise its ideally situated to pop into Edinburgh. All round - great value for money.

I would recommend this hotel strongly for the standard of their restaurant.

A really warm and friendly welcome. We got a good deal on the room so unsurprisingly got the room at the top which I guess will have been the old servants quarters and smaller than most, but it was still lovely and comfortable, if rather too warm. Bathroom lovely. If it was the paupers room the others must be gorgeous. Grounds beautiful and communal areas had an air of elegance but still comfortable to be in. staff were very friendly, interested and responsive. i wish we had stayed longer to explore the grounds and surrounding area.

Perfect! Not cheap but worth every penny. The staff could not have been more perfect. We felt "special" The food was exemplary. We enjoyed every second. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The only criticism I can think of of is the TV was too small.

I visited Cringletie House with my mother as an early birthday present. We had a fantastic break - everything about the hotel ie staff, room, food etc were excellent, All the staff were professional, helpful and friendly - nothing was too much bother to them.

It was a nice quiet luxury stay for a few days. Everything was peaceful with nature on your doorstep. The food was very good although rather expensive.

Charming and attentive staff. Excellent service. Very comfortable rooms. Delicious food. Also enjoyed the putting course.

I would prefer a kettle to the tea and coffee machine in the room. Otherwise absolutely excellent.
