Plush comfortable hotel, rather more for the mature set I would think. Felt very sumptuous in the 'Heytesbury Suite' ) Very posh breakfast with china teacups and cut glass - loved it. Plenty to do in surrounding areas as long as you have car or taxi Surprised to eat breakfast with 2 other unknown couples around large dining table! More homemade biscuits please in the room (there was only x3)

I thought the couple who ran the place were very nice and very welcoming. The place itself was very nicely decorated and everything was decorated and finished to a very high standard The only drawback is that it was a little bit far from some of the places we wanted to visit

Location Their own website says no children under 12. I arrived with my 13 yr old son and received a frosty reception from the female owner which made us very uncomfortable.
