Location - Close to everything Cleanliness - Everything cleaned and fresh and well kept. Friendliness - Helen was an amazing host. Knowing all our names and very interested in what we have planned for every day, giving ideas. A very homely house. We enjoyed the stay and will revisited again.
Owner did all she could to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Very helpful advice about local area, places to visit, restaurants, etc. Lots of hot water and comfortable beds. Great breakfast.
Dining area was a little cramped when all rooms occupied.
Friendly, nice room,
Parking a problem
We enjoyed our stay helen was a excellent host bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean good choice at breakfast did not want to leave will be back
The noise from pub down the street loud music and late nigth revellers until 2.30am but thats not helens fault
Good location. Fantastic secluded beach half an hours walk away along beautiful coast path. Helen was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good, not much choice of continental. Large room. Easy parking.
Whole place very dated. Perhaps not suited for a young couple like ourselves. Room smelled damp and like it needed a good airing. Not worth the £100 a night we paid.
Location. Breakfast. Very friendly host (Helen). Comfortable room and bed. Facilities in village: pubs and restaurants very nearby.
lovely room clean and comfortable, great location too
comfort and cleanliness.
All ways a pleasure to stay here hope to return later in the year .looking forward to it.
Though we only stayed for 3 nights we found everything to be excellent.
Great location Great breakfast Good value Free parking
The cleanest place iv stayed so far, and iv been quite a few. Immaculate. Helen was brilliant. Attended to all our needs. Breakfast was great. Sweet little village with plenty to do, see and eat.
Parking was ok, on safe municipal car park. I never paid as we left by 10 each morning. Helen would/did give us a free parking ticket which was valid from noon till noon. So not a real problem.
Lovely friendly reception and great character place to stay.
Excellent welcome and every attention made to help us enjoy our stay in Lynton. A comfortable lounge. Most appetizing well-cooked and prepared breakfast with excellent choices;especially the extra details on the table and decor for Easter. Excellent location close to all shops and walks.
Parking took effort if you didn't want to pay, ie street parking was scarce at night.Car park overnight was free until 10am and necessitated moving the car onto the street in the morning. £88 per night for 3 nights was slightly expensive but we accepted this as an Easter tariff rate.
Very nice place in a good location. The owner was very helpful .
Comfortable, tasteful, welcoming, private - many, many thanks!
the hostess was very helpful
Heating could have been better
Friendly, relaxed atmosphere with a very helpful and genuine owner.
Good value for money, excellent knowledge of local amenities by landlady, clean house and friendly welcome. All in all very recommendable.
All was fine
cant think of anything
Owner of the guest-house was fabulous and outstandingly helpful. Couldn't have felt more looked after. Everything one could think of had been provided for in the room. Breakfast was good. Location is fantastic.
Twin beds were put together to make the large double bed, which was somewhat uncomfortable.
Everything was lovely
No way worth the price of £80 a night. Bedroom very cramped. Breakfast was meagre with bacon like cardboard and fried eggs over cooked. Luckily we got one slice of toast each - very miserly!
Attention to detail from Helen the owner.
