The location was great for my trip and the staff were very kind
The bathrooms were in horrible condition. The door couldn't lock. The room smells of cigarettes.
location quick to respond to requests - replacement hair drier
dangerous wires - light, iron faulty hair drier breakfast for vegetarians - overcooked egg, no replacement for meat items mould in the shower; faulty shower head rail
Our 4th stay here. A good place to sleep for a rugby weekend.easy walking distance to Welford Road , comfortable beds and a good breakfast.
Only their free breakfast minimised the severity of this contract breach.

People were very nice
I had a towel on the floor around the sink in my room indicating it slow leak.
stayed here twice before. Good location , short walk into town and to Welford Road for the rugby
breakfast could be served until 9.30amor perhaps 10am on Sunday's
The manager was very friendly and tried to make the stay better but the hotel needs updating desperately
The room was terrible the bathroom disgusting and mouldy the wi fi non existent
OK, Let's start off with the good - that won't take too long! The breakfast was good. The room cleanliness was also surprisingly good.
Now for the bad. For anyone that knows me I am not one to have unreasonable expectations regarding staying in budget accommodation. I am not going to whinge that the room hasn't been recently decorated or that the occasional sounds can be heard from the street for example. I do have some standards though. One of them being not sharing a toilet with other guests. Looking at the bookings they are advertised "room with shared toilet" and "room with shower" Foolishly I assumed that "room with shower" also included a toilet as shared toilets were being advertised separately. Nope! You get a shower and a sink but no loo! I shudder to think how many people have used the sink and shower as a makeshift urinal! Also there were two shared toilets to service 20 rooms. The one in the shared bathroom had a broken lock so you had to be a good whistler or singer if you wanted to use it or take a shower undisturbed. The other one took about 10 minutes to re-fill the cistern after flushing. Next up is the shower I had in my room. It looked like it had been plumbed in by the Chuckle Brothers. Partially painted and raw copper pipes at crazy angles. You had to leave the shower on for about 15 minutes before the hot water started coming through which was a bit of a problem as the shower drain wasn't working properly and you risked a mini tsunami in your room unless you turned the shower off and gave it another 5 minutes for the water to drain. The radiator in my room was stuck on. Not normally a problem at the end of October but this was the warmest Halloween on record. To compensate for this the staff had opened the sash window to try and let the heat out. It didn't work! the room was like an oven and after I had a shower it was like a sauna! There were tea and coffee making facilities as advertised which was nice.
Looked more like a hostel. Very dirty and doors paint coming off. Didnt feel like I wanted to use any facilities
Single room was very small. Toilets and showers are shared and not the cleanest. How this is called a Hotel, I don't know.. But would be quiet a good hostel.
The bed wasn't in good condition. very small amount of cooked breakfast.
cheap good wifi signal good location (for Queens Rd, Victoria Park)
No ensuite toilet (though had a sink/shower in the room) Very dated decor Plumbing/finish pretty ropey
I was staying there to compete in the Leicester Marathon and allowed to have a shower after the run even though I had already checked out. Also, an extra early breakfast catered for the runners.
The price and location, fast wifi
Very loud heating/plumbing, still audible through earplugs. The water in shared toilets and sink in room not safe to drink. Noise from other guests. Very thin duvet. Strange light/alarm clock fixture immediately above bed, making it impossible to sit up. Dirty towel under bed. Spartan decor to say the least.
Games Room facility ... Extended Stay after Check-out ... Check-out time was OK ... Access to Hotel with room key plus demonstration ... A few minor damages which will be seen to hopefully ...
Wrong impression by being labelled as a hotel with no Restaurant facilities for both guests and the public ... The Shower took too long to warm up - thereby 1 hour was not long enough for breakfast ...
Double room was big, en suite. Very good for the (very low) price. Car parking available.
Single rooms tiny, shared toilet
The outside of the building looks really good and some parking
Room was cold despite having radiator on full blast, had neighbors Having a room Party blasting Music nothing was done about this for hours, smelt of sweat in corridors, room reminded me of a bad version of my uni dormtory room
Mohit and his brother were so helpful. We turned up at least 2 hours later than we had hoped and were still met with even though we had obviously woken him up. It was after midnight but he still was good enough to produce a bottle of red wine and two glasses for us to take to our room. The room was clean, the bed linen clean and breakfast was more than acceptable for what we had paid.
My brothers room had no toilet or shower....my friends room had black mould growing on the ceiling
Everything...the staffs are very helpful and easy to interact with.
Nothing I can remember.
The staff are just incredible! Very nice and gentle. They helped me a lot with different things.
The cleanliness was a bit poor. And the facilities also. If you are looking for a 2-3 days hotel just while you're looking something in Leicester it could be a good option. For leisure I'm not sure... I totally recommend to the Hotel Staff to improve their facilities at their personal level!
The staff were helpful. The linen - sheets were nice and the bath towels a good size.
The stair carpet was thread bare on the edges and dirty looking. Paintwork was chipped and the bedroom needed a new coat of paint as it looked dirty. No tv in the room. One tiny window in room had a wardrobe pushed against it - so it was claustrophobic. No carpet in bedroom. No hair dryer in the room. Shower was very small. Breakfast - No choice of fruit and no mushrooms.
Small breakfast room. No table lamp in room .
i arrived too a warm welcome with everything explained to me about WiFi and brekki..the staff are friendly and helpful and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there!! Thank you
Friendly staff good location
Dirty: Fungi and mildew in bathroom. Stained cushions. Dusty. Filthy toilet bowl. beat up: holes in furniture, dingy mismatching furniture, thin walls. Very cold. toiletries were offered in booking description, but this was just a bar of soap.
