Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms basic and clean.
One room had a damp quite strong smell, possible drains. Breakfast was awful, I would not recommend it.
Good breakfast, comfy hotel
The only choice at the 'bar' was a few cans
Very relaxed atmosphere in the property and the owner was smiling when I woke him up to let me in after I got caught in traffic on my journey to the property. All round good hotel.
Quiet location. Close to to town Breakfast was well presented and excellent waiter service Room was clean and tidy.
Shower tray had slow drainage.
Room was clean, nice breakfast and friendly staff.
Noisy plumbing, shared facilities not well looked after. Would definitely not stay again with shared facilities.
The staff was friendly and helpful, always aiming to please. The rooms were comfortable, and the hotel had a all-around rustic and homely feeling. The price was fair, even as my booking was very soon prior to the beginning of my stay. Close to the city centre.
Showers had poor pressure, and the hot water was irregular and sometimes ceased to function in entirety. The breakfast was served at far too early times, and only for an hour.
It's good hotel
Clean, comfy place. well within my budget. Excellent breakfast and in a good position
Limited bar, just a few cans
Good location Off street parking Cheap
Needs a refresh. Hallways smelly. Rooms a bit shabby. Low quality breakfast. Awful coffee with budget beans and cardboard toast.
A warm welcome, extremely friendly staff and a great full English breakfast. Perfect location for the city centre. Lovely building.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast.Clean, handy for bus into town.
Breakfast only served for an hour which was a little restrictive if you slept in.
Great location. Staff: They were very helpful and I can say that they really made us feel at home. They go out of they way to help you in all your needs. Room very clean and very comfy bed. Wifi very strong. Very good value for money. Brekfast very good, Full English Breakfast.
Nice, clean room. Breakfast. Friendly staff. Free parking. Location.
needs up dating .floor and and bed creaked . not enough room for everyone at breakfast and tatty furniture.
Friendly personal, simple rooms but quiet and not far from downtown, good breakfast.
Paid £35 for single room wiv shower but shared loo nr Leicester City in order to meet friends at night. On arrival my room wasn't ready despite arriving after time I had stated, as they were putting new curtains up. I asked about upgrading to full en suite but they wanted £20 extra which was ridiculous (my husband had stayed with me the night before at Bosworth Hall, a far nicer proper hotel, and it only cost £40 for both of us on en suite with breakfast). I was told my room was a double (I booked a single) but I'd have found it very small as a double. Furniture was basic but functional. Room was clean. Shared loo was naff! Breakfast was only served between 7 - 8am so I missed it. I've never stayed in a hotel that stops serving breakfast before 8am before. I returned to the hotel around 11.30pm after my night out with friends, and had to go to my car to get my electric fan as it was a hot evening. On my way bak to my room I got propositioned by a young Asian man who told me he stayed there every week and should I want his "services" he would be available! I am a 59 yr old married woman and did not appreciate being approached like this - in fact it scared me to death. He was in the room next to me and I darent leave my room all night, even to go to the loo.
Most of it see above. Wrote dislikes in wrong place but wasn't going to start again as writing this on my phone! Scarey place - i won't be staying again!
Easy location, good parking spaces, basic budget hotel
Poor breakfast facilities, dull and tired interiors,
The man at reception was very professional when dealing with an incident that occurred and was generally very kind and considerate.
The breakfast was very basic, but the waiter was very considerate when dealing with my allergies. We did not sleep during our stay due to some other guests having a verbal and physical fight at 3am, which led to the police being called. When the man at reception was informed of the incident (as it was happening), he dealt with the situation very swiftly and discreetly. This incident does not reflect the hotel in my opinion, it was just a case of bad luck.
Clean and simple
single room at the top of hotel
close to town.food excellent, staff very good
hotel little bit tired
Was a good friendly place to stay. Good parking. Easy walk to local pubs and eating.
Great location not far from the university we had to visit and a 20 min walk from the train station plenty around the hotel as well
The breakfast room really not big enough if full and all venturing down at the the same time had to wait 10 minutes for a table as only a few bit well worth the wait as service and breakfast was delightful :-)
