Was comfortable and welcoming

Was only supplied with one set of towels and the coffee and tea only enough for one. I'm sure this would have been rectified by a call to reception but we didn't hve a phone in the room to use!

The food in the restaurant was outstanding.

The bar was too small the room was basic pillows very thin only one milk for coffee.The T.v wasnt good quailty picture hardley worked..

Staff were friendly. Rooms are tired. Toilet seat loose shower hose in poor condition. Room was comfortable, but as it is an old property floor boards above the room were creaky and noisy

The Croft is conveniently close to the Eurotunnel terminal, yet its rooms are competitively priced. It is well run by helpful, friendly staff and the food is excellent, with a limited but well considered selection of wines.

Fabulous little guesthouse, we would certainly stay here again. Friendly, helpful staff made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived.

Location.

Friendliness of staff. Good Italian restaurant. Comfortable beds.

Heavy traffic noise during night. Unusable tumblers in bathrooms for rinsing teeth after clearning - all were broken and so could not hold water. Inferior plastic. Basic TV facilities.

Slightly overpriced, in my opinion

Absolutely nothing.

It was dirty and noisy, the shower didn't work and the sink tap wouldn't turn off. The TV only played 1 channel, I had no tea or coffee in my room or a cup, just sugar and a kettle. The money was taken from my account before we had even arrived and the manager was rude, he made no apology for anything, essentially said "tough".

Very clean, bed very comfortable.

The grounds could do with some tidying-up. Limited choice of breakfast. The waiter did not seem to be enjoying his job.

We were very happy with the meals that we had during our stay

1) During our 4 night stay the television in our room did not work. This was inconvienient but above all the hotel did not appear interested in our complaint. 2) The large lamp did not work (Bulb blown?) Despite 3 requests the bulb was never replaced. 3) No toilet roll holder in bathroom so toilet roll just remained on the floor. 4) Room / Bathroom not cleaned. Only bed sheets pulled up. 5} On arrival we had no towels or tea bags etc. 6) When restaurant /hotel is busy there is no parking available around rooms 20 to 23. On Friday night we arrived back at 9.30 and had to park in the road opposite the hotel. I am disabled and had real difficulty because of this. Why not put in dedicated parking spaces for those rooms or maybe put in disabled blue badge parking spaces.
