Crompton House Apartments

It is 3minute walk from High barn tube station. Takes about 40minutes to take the tube to Oxford Circus.

It is located by the main road in Barnet and there is a lot of traffic, you can hear it.

Crompton House Apartments are quality accommodation in a very good location for public transport and shops in Barnet North London. I would definitely go there again, and have recommended them to family and friends.

Well appointed, modern and spotlessly clean. Short walk to tube station.

After 6 months of backpacking it was lovely to have somewhere private with your own kitchen and lounge. Very comfortable,everything provided that you would need. It is at the end of the tube line,but it's a nice ride in to central London and at least you get to sit down for a while on the way back and relax !

Small quibbles,but could do with better signage to make the apartments easier to find and also a different shower head so you can get better water pressure.

Great location, very near buses and Tube. Lot of eateries nearby and good supermarket facilities. LOVED the design and layout and decor of the place. Fresh, clean, modern AND, amazingly, felt very spacious and light. Also very quiet, both in terms of hearing little noise from the busy street outside and no noise from other apartments. The bed was superb; really comfortable, we slept like logs. Good isolation, too. We didn't wake each other up when moving in our sleep. Good security, too. We always felt safe. We stayed 13 nights, and the apartment worked well all that time. Great furnishings, including drying rack, dish washer, washing machine and dryer. Spacious bathroom - excellent!

The customer service cld have been better. We had a problem where the toilet flush button fell off (it wasn't fastened properly when we arrived) and bounced in to the toilet bowl as it was flushed. This blocked the loo. Our own efforts to dislodge the toilet flush button met with no joy. We called at 7am in the morning to advise of the problem, giving clear detail of what had happened and how it had occurred. We specified we needed a plumber, it was a severe problem.We asked if we cld move rooms? No, nothing available. After 2 further ph calls to the Crompton Apts service desk number an unshaven chap who looked like he had just crawled out of bed turned up around noon saying he was from Crompton Apts. He looked at the loo and said 'it's blocked, I can't fix it. You need a plumber. Yes, we did AND we had said so!!!! ' He just shrugged his shoulders and appeared completely indifferent. When wld a plumber arrive? He shrugged 'no idea'. I got cross with his casual and arrogant indifference and the lack of service and told him so in clear terms, minus any bad language (sadly). He was shocked in to calling his boss again and then, hey presto! Suddenly a new suite WAS available, and right now - miracle of miracles! We lost a whole day to that palaver. We were both really cross. We paid good money, and were there 2 weeks. Getting a plumber at short notice should be something they offer as part of their service.

I liked the modern apartment which all the gadgets,flats were quiet,good location for what I was doing,I.E. city travel by tube,car travel to m25...but very clean and tidy apartments and nice town to live in.

would have liked the opportunity to have premium television.

First class accomodation, perfect to relax in after work for the same price as a reasonable hotel, working in SE London but well worth making the hour trip. Would definatly recomend and stay again.

Clean, spacious and very comfortable. A virtually new apartment with all the facilities and equipment you need - including a wall safe.

About 45 mins by tube from the city of London (but you will not find anything this good closer to London.)

I struggled to sleep due to the traffic noise.

This is a well presented apartment will all mod cons. It's 2 minutes walk from high Barnett station which is the northern line, you can be in Leicester square in 20 minutes. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. It's a very secure place and there is parking next to the flat. The parking is free after 6.30pm, the day rate to park is £5.00. There are other car parks a short walk away that are cheaper. Barnett is a nice town, with plenty of restaurants and cafes to try. My favourite was Tokyo joes. If you want to shop there are various shops for all your needs.

My only minor problem is that it is on the main road and the traffic does get noisey after a couple of days you get used to it. If you are a light sleeper a pair of ear plugs might be useful. It's the buses that park outside that seem to be a problem. I think the owner needs to address this with the bus company as they run their engines when they park outside ignoring the sign that tells them to switch of their engines.

Appartamento molto bello e spazioso (soprattutto per gli standard di londra).

Lontano dal centro ma molto ben servito dalla metro a 100 metri

Pulizia, Posizione comodissima e tranquilla. Servizi disponibili e dotazione dell'appartamento (con una cucina utilizzabile per prepararsi quello che si vuole e non doversi avvelenare in giro). Comodi letti e traffico che non disturba.

Siamo arrivato alle 20.08 e ci hanno (gentilmente) appiappato un fee supplementare...

rien à dire .... tout était super , en premier lieu la propreté de l 'appartement , la disposition des pièces , ... l 'acceuil du propriétaire .le métro à 5 min des commerces à proximité . vraiment à recommander pour un séjour à londres

Laute Verkehrsstraße, da Appartment zur Strasse; Rechnung war erst falsch.....

buona posizione a pochi metri dalla fermata della metropolitana( e in 25 minuti si arriva a Totthenham Court Road) e con vicinissime tante strutture sia come ristoranti,pizzerie e supermecati.l'appartamento e' praticamente nuovo e ben tenuto con il gestore gentilissimo e disponibilissimo(nel giro di mezzora e' venuto e ha sostituito due lampadine bruciate).ci sono tutti i confort per poter fare una vacanza anche con i bimbi(noi ne avevamo uno di otto anni) visto che ci sono tutti i servizi per la cucina.

Appartamento ampio, nuovo, pulito e confortevole, molto ben accessoriato, dalla lavastoviglie al wi-fi gratuito. Lo staff molto gentile e attento alle nostre esigenze. High Barnet è molto lontano dalla Central London, ma è una bella zona, gradevole e ottimamente servita come negozi, ristoranti ecc. Il capolinea della Northern Line è a 5 minuti a piedi, i treni sono frequentissimi e in 30-40 minuti si arriva a Leicester Square.

700 Sterline per 5 giorni possono essere anche equilibrate, ma forse occorre essere almeno in due coppie per dividersi la spesa, tenendo conto che un'andata e ritorno in metro, anche con la oyster card, costa 7-8 sterline e che i tempi di trasporto sono comunque rilevanti. Migliorabile la pressione dell'acqua nella doccia e nel wc. Un'insegna lunga la High Street che segnali l'ingresso alla casa sarebbe molto utile, perché si entra da un vicolo laterale non immediatamente visibile.

Appartamento confortevole, ampio, pulito e accogliente. Gentile e disponibile Matt che ci ha accolto all'arrivo. Zona molto tranquilla e abbastanza comoda ai servizi.

La lontananza dal centro città, circa 35/40 minuti di metropolitana.

המיקום מרוחק למדי. עם זאת, רק רבע שעה מהמרכז היהודי באדג׳וור ברכב פרטי. בתחתית יותר מסובך. נקודה טובה ליציאה לטיולים ברכב סביב לונדון. כיהודים דתיים הייתה לנו בעיה ייחודית. אי אפשר לצאת מבלי לפתוח שער חשמלי, דבר שתקע אותנו בשבת.

Son confort . Appartement spacieux et très propre

La distance entre l appartement et le centre ville de Londres . En revanche les moyens de transport comblent cet inconvénient .

Wir waren das 2.mal dort und man kann mit allem Zufrieden sein,werden auch nochmal wieder kommen.

Leider mußten wir feststellen das es immer noch kein Deutsches Fernsehen gibt,wegen Nachrichten und so.Wir Buchen immer für 1Woche das wehre doch angenehm da wir kein Englisch sprechen.

Per la stessa qualità in una camera a Londra si spende almeno il doppio, ma qui hai un appartamento. a 200 metri dal capolinea della Northern line .

Apartamento grande y muy bien equipado, muy cerca del metro y con buena relación calidad/precio.

Habitación excesivamente ruidosa, entraba todo el ruido del trafico, sirenas de la policia y ambulancias y de la gente que estaba en la calle. Cuesta conciliar y mantener el sueño. Al no tener persianas se colaba la luz en cuanto amanecía (4:45) de la mañana. Haciendo la vida habitual de un turista no veras al personal de los apartamentos ya que solo están durante poco tiempo a lo largo del día (de 15:00 a 20:00)
