Friendly proprietors Good food Comfortable
The whole experience was excellent, brilliant location. The staff was friendly and the room was perfect. Still so shocked that the prices are so low. I have stayed in many hotels in this area and this is by far the best value for money. Don't delay, book now
Very welcoming and friendly Very clean Good location for town centre Tasty breakfast
Very little to dislike. All I can say is the bed was a little too firm for my taste
It perfectly matched our needs for location , facilities and helpful hosts . Beautifully decorated and accessible for Eastbourne
The shower could have been a little hotter
The owners paid every attention to detail and were very helpful in all aspects of my stay. They were both very friendly
Very near to the Pier and to the main restaurants. Friendly staff.
Can be difficult to find a free parking space near to the hotel.
Comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe & drawer space. TV worked well. Delicious breakfast. Loved the fresh fruit salad. English was perfectly cooked. Very friendly owners. Our room was at the back & very quiet.
Bed had a wooden base all around that stuck out from the mattress. Not the best choice for a small room, as we both banged our legs on it, walking round the bed.
Exellent location close to seafront and town centre. Great Breakfast. Good value. Nice people to stay with.
Difficult to park close to the hotel.
Friendly owners. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds Very clean.
Saturday night revellers being very noisy until 3.30am outside hotel. Very loud motorbikes racing down the street.
Newly refurbished top floor apartment was light, modern and comfortable. A colour scheme of seaside blues made it a very relaxing place to be. Parking permit of £1 a day very handy. The owners Neil and Sue were very welcoming and helpful. Although three flights of stairs to the apartment it was well worth it and we very much enjoyed our stay.
The stairs to the apartment on arrival with luggage but generally the stairs were not a problem. The only downside and this not relating specifically to Cromwell House is the difficulty finding car parking spaces in the area.
Good location, close to everything but this did lead to a few noisy revellers walking past the hotel in the wee hours.
Small cupboard type ensuite.
The location, close to the city centre and the seafront, the cleanliness and friendliness of staff, good breakfast, very good quality of bed, lovely and large room
The small bathroom, that does not have a proper door but it's fine for a couple sharing a room, the nightlife in Eastbourne which can be... interesting
Great people and great breakfast
It was just Perfect. Nice Hosts (Neal And Sue) who gave us Tips from parking to the Perfect Pub (Marine) and to the best sightseeing Spots. The apartement was very clean, had everything we needed. And also just one walking minute to the Beach... We will be back!
Everything was Perfect!
Comfortable rooms (including a lovely bathroom) Friendly and accommodating owners Everything very clean and well cared-for Fruit salad for breakfast! Prime position near the sea-front ....and I really liked the little blue and white tiles on the front steps!
Not a 'didn't like', but just that we would have appreciated a set of keys each on a couple of occasions, rather than just having one set for each room (we were there as two couples).
My mum liked the fact that she was very close to all the shops. She also enjoyed using her free bus-pass during the day with frequent buses to lovely places. We both enjoyed the breakfasts! Thank you.
Parking was an issue the first night as I couldn't park anywhere near the guest house. I came back earlier the second night and parking was much easier. Eastbourne is very busy in July!
Friendly and welcoming
Really friendly greeting. fab breakfast, excellent value for money..will definitely return when back in Eastbourne.
I liked the room, I liked the owners, I liked the food and I liked the comfortable bed.
Nothing I did not like but would have liked a small fridge in the room.
The whole atmosphere of the house was very pleasing which made for a very good weekend stay.
Obviously parking is a problem but we managed;
The street noise was too loud at night, which may be due to the World Cup
Great Hotel 2nd time I have stayed would recomend
Poor internet connection in the room
Very friendly welcome, very convenient situation between town centre and the sea; also handy for the railway station. There was a lounge for guests. Very nice breakfast. Well appointed bedroom. Very good value for money
My single room was very small, but when I booked it I had seen feedback that warned of this, so I was not disappointed. It was fine for one night.
