The warm welcome by the family and comfortable room. Plus, it's close to the beach, the pier and the town centre. The stairs but I accept that this can't be changed.

Warm welcome from Neil. Access to the B&B at all times (with your own keys). Nice room with small bathroom but everything you need. Excellent breakfast. If I booked a single room, and there were other double or twin rooms available - why not offer them to your guests?

The moment we arrived were met with friendliness and helpfulness which continued throughout our short stay. Although an older building once inside the decor and cleanliness were apparent everything of a very high class. Not really a dislike but pity no actual car park but this was made up with the reduced daily rate to park in the street and we were fortunate to find a place outside the hotel.

Service was great from the staff where very welcoming on arrival. Hotel and rooms where very clean, staff where helpful and accommodating. Good value for money, The breakfast was lovely however the portion for the full English was very small. Also the beds where uncomfortable very hard was difficult to get to sleep.

We found a real gem in a great location, it was friendly, comfortable and spotlessly clean so £66 for a twin/ double room it was a good price.

Clean, nice decor, friendly staff, good loaction close to the sea front. Pretty basic but cheap and cheerful. Parking a major problem, but ask the staff for a cheap permit to ensure you can at least park cheaply.

I was delighted to be welcomed on my arrival by a relaxed informative chatty guy. The week I stayed was very relaxed, friendly and I almost thought I was with my family!! Breakfast was very well arranged, I could have had almost whatever I wished, the meals I had were served, hot punctual and nicely set out, also the tables were pleasant and very clean, the table and bed linen perfect. The room, a single, was large enough for one, a good T.V. coffee tea facilities, bathroom always fresh and I have no complaints. At first I was daunted by the lack of elevator but the owner whisked my luggage up the stairway, and by the end of the week my legs felt more able to climb the five staircases, it did me good!

Room was relatively spacious and had plenty of storage space We arrived about 9.30pm having already advised we would be late. When the owner opened the door, he didn't say anything and was quite short with us. The bed was two twin beds pushed toegther (having spoken to the owner, all of the beds are the same therefore its not really a double). The bathroom had a plastic sliding door so not much privacy! The bathroom was fairly small and the water didnt drain well; on further inspection, this was because of the amount of hair in the plug filter. The water pressure in the shower was very weak. Overall, I think the room was overpriced at £66pn but not a bad place to stay.
