This is not Hotel, they gave me a room without any basic facility, like water. I waited 4 hours until they fix their problem, and there was no TV, but after i asked them they just say wait 10 minutes i came to the reception 3 or 4 times always they says 10 minutes. Actually there were not cure about customer.Another thing is my room was on forth floor and it has not phone to call the reception I have to go by the stairs many times to talk the receptionist because the lift has many problems it just hang in the basement floor.Furthermore, the receptionists don't know their job when i ask someone of them they ask they didn't give me answer. This hotel doesn't deserve to show on your site.

This Hotel was obviously undergoing a make over and half of the hotel looked like it had been modernised. This is what was shown on the internet and in there printed literature stating that all rooms had been updated, this clearly was not the case as we were put in the back of the hotel which was like stepping into another location. The only way I can describe the room we were given is that it was like a student let.

Location, that's the only thing going for it!!!!!!!!!!!! I've stayed at many hotel with varied rating in England and abroad and this hotel was the worst by far, I'd go as far as saying abysmal. I knew from the price that it wasn't going to be the Ritz however I do expect a little truth from what is advertises in it's amenities and comfort it so proudy state'S. To start with, the lock on the room was tempremental and really not worth the hassle or wait of trying to get in to. The top bed cover dirty, no air con as adveritised in all rooms ditto tea making facilities, there was a filthy drain outlet cover right in front of the toilet and the actual toilet (not the seat) moved side to side with water squirting out of the bottom of it. The bath was dirty as was the sink, the room smelt musty, there was a old slab of concrete as an excuse of a step into the bathroom, the matress lumpy and as thick as a wafer thin mint. The contnental breakfast which I was rudely awaken for by 700 clattering plates and bowl at 7am, was as continental as John Bull himself ( stale value wetabix, break your teeth cornflakes and a piece of toast which looked like it had been toasted by a lighter, such choices). I'm 35 years old and have an extremely Stiff Upper Lip but this stay made it quivver, I wasn't going to complain, but you emailed for my opinion so here it is!

Ermmm nothing My partner and I travel a lot to different countries, this was by far the worse hotel we have ever stayed in. Check in staff could not speak English so another staff member had to book us in, he was very pleasant. Lift to room was so old fashioned and did not work as someone had not shut the door on another level, we had to walk 3 flights of stairs. Room was new but had big hole above bed, and was dirty, outside the room carpeting was disgusting, walls were dirty and there were step ladders outside the room?, breakfast time there were 5 staff whocould not speak English other then Tea? Coffee? I am English and proud of it and the fact that I could not be understood in my own country is appalling, I asked if they had herbal tea or decaf coffee and no one had a clue what i was asking for, as well as me asking if the eggs were hard boiled as they were cold and i did not want to crack a raw egg open! Would not recommend this hotel to my worse enemy......

The location is about 5 minutes walking from the Glocester tube station. You can reach some famouse streets and sightseeings on foot. You may be will find out not everything you expected about service, but you will be able to decide your problems with polite and helpful staff. The prices are reasonable. I would advice to provide each room kettle and one glass at least, for people need boiled water to drink.Besides, people sometimes need to get access to the iron. And rooms on the ground floor are rather cold, the situation should improve.

This hotel is more like a budget hostel. We couldnt get the lift to work and the receptionist was not bothered, There were wires and "building" supplies all over the place. It was tidy on some floors and being renovated on the top floors. The room was tiny and not good value As for breakfast-it was the worst I have ever been offered! Give it a miss!

Pretty good location. Walking distance (no more than 5 min) to Gloucester Road tube and has Sainsburys across the road, and non-stop Tesco Express near the tube. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Electric kettle, cups and some tea and coffe was provided in the room for free. Reception area looks quite beaten (not rooms, see above), and construction work is going on, what means noise in daytime. Windows were old and not insulating, so it was quite cold in the room (I would only recommend this hotel in warmer time). Continental breakfast was a bit of a letdown, but a place near tube offers full english breakfast for two for 10 pounds, if you want. Overall, the place was not bad for L80/2nts, but I am shocked to see it offered for as much as 200 a month later, that would be not worth it.

The fact we got our money back The picture shown when booking the hotel is actually a picture of the rooms in an area of the hotel which has been done up. In reality we were given a grubby old style room with black marks over the wall, the bed covers were old the top cover did not look freshly washed. The bathroom was small and musty with half the tiles off under the sink and a pipe in the middle of the floor on show covered in duct tape. It was definately not how it was described therfore I insisted on getting our money back. The room was originally on offer on bookin.com however the receptionist did not agree a special offer ever existed and which was why we were given the old grubby room. In defence of the hotel they did eventually offer us the newer room but by this stage we wanted out.

The staff were nice, bedroom was recently done up Outside and reception were not inviting and give avery bad inmpression which did not improve till we reached the bedroom. Outside our bedroom window there was scafolding, chipped mug on tea making tray, shaving light in cupboard under sink wires hanging above mirror where light should have been, tv very old only 34 channels worked hard to control volume, breakfast room very old carpet and too many tables very difficult to get round, breakfast choice poor

The bed was comfortable, the air con worked well, the curtains kept the room dark so we had a good night's sleep. The bathroom was new and clean. It was close to museums, the park and an underground station. We were not impressed by the lobby, it was grubby and tatty. The place looked run down and unclean until we got to the bedroom which, although very small was neat and clean. The tv didn't work properly. There was no bathmat until we asked for an extra towel due to danger of slipping on the wet floor. The breakfast was adequate for the price but the room rather too small for the number of tables jammed in.

The best thing about this hotel was the location for the purpose of the trip. There's not much to do in the area, if you're looking for just a bed then it's ok but would not recommend staying for more than one night. The staff are friendly enough. From the photo's displayed, it looked pretty decent, yet the decor is very drab, the carpets need to be replaced and the whole place could do with a makeover. When using the shower, it filled the bath with water and it was very difficult to stop the floor from getting drenched. The beds were not that comfortable and there was very little room. I would not of expected to have to leave as early as we did but we could not stop in the room any longer. Would not use this hotel again.

Nothing at all . firstly it should not be called a Hotel as its a disgrace to the meaning of a Hotel. As a professional, I would not even rate it as a pansion. An effort has been made to renovate the rooms, but the rest is not to be desired. The rooms are not at all comfortable like a store room. The bathroom was descent, but the shower did not work properly Not a hotel? It was a joke that they have Wi Fi facilities, only at the rception area which has one couch and a chair, the reception had to put in the password. The restaurant was a storeoom, I did not even dare take my wife for breakfast, I preferred to take her out of the Hotel just so that she would not see the breakfast room.On the one day they charged us gbp 115.00 the next day they asked for gbp129.00.this is ridiculous and I am contemplating to lodge a formal complaint to the tourism board and the hotel ASSOCIATION.If you want to renovate close the hotel and when you are ready then reopen, with decent facilities and accommodation

The time I spent away from the hotel Small room where you could hear everything above you, the electric wiring on show in the corridores, the rotten window frames, hideous breakfast juice, lumpy very old pillows, dirty floor I bathroom, worn carpet everywhere, wish I had paid more attention before I booked it - will never return - not that cheap to warrent such a rubbish hotel better off to spend another £20 and stay at a travellodge
