This is not Hotel, they gave me a room without any basic facility, like water. I waited 4 hours until they fix their problem, and there was no TV, but after i asked them they just say wait 10 minutes i came to the reception 3 or 4 times always they says 10 minutes. Actually there were not cure about customer.Another thing is my room was on forth floor and it has not phone to call the reception I have to go by the stairs many times to talk the receptionist because the lift has many problems it just hang in the basement floor.Furthermore, the receptionists don't know their job when i ask someone of them they ask they didn't give me answer. This hotel doesn't deserve to show on your site.

This Hotel was obviously undergoing a make over and half of the hotel looked like it had been modernised. This is what was shown on the internet and in there printed literature stating that all rooms had been updated, this clearly was not the case as we were put in the back of the hotel which was like stepping into another location. The only way I can describe the room we were given is that it was like a student let.

It is very central to the London underground, Royal Palaces, the City, the River Thames, and South Kensington for shopping. Value for money for the location. The lift goes to the 4th floor - I was on the 5th. Be wary if you have trouble with stairs. The lift is ancient and won't operate if the outer door is left open, which happens frequently. Again, be wary if walking down 5 stories is an issue for you. There is no room fridge for keeping your drinks or snacks cold. The chair in my room was rickety and the leg fell off if it was touched. In the shower with the hot water on full, the water was cold. The shower leaked through the sills onto the floor. And the basin was very shallow. You have to boil the kettle for hot water to shave. Be prepared to use your towels to mop up after showering and shaving. And most importantly, the beautiful flat screen tv was bolted flat onto the wall, instead of being on a swivel arm. It couldn't be watched whilst lying in bed, you couldn't watch it from the broken chair, which left standing up as the only option for watching the tv.

The room was newly refirbished about which we were satisfied. The free wifi connection was only available at the entrance. Which was a big dissapointment.

Bedroom a bit on the small side but recently refurbished to a high standard. Every thing was brand new bu the shower needs an instruction manual - never seen so many gadgets trying to wash me at the same time... Hotel still being refurbished hence no Bar or Restaurant facilities. The weather during my sttay did not lend itself to wandering far from the hotel - so pretty limited for evening meals and drinks. Should improve though when works are complete.

Checking in and out was quick and staff were polite. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Building was classic in design and looked beautiful from the outside. Poor quality fittings in the room - broken handle on wardrobe and towel ring kept falling off wall. Water was not hot enough for a decent shower. Sorry but didn't like the shower - too small and complicated to use Please put instructions for use on wall.. No tooth glasses. Inside decoration was poor due to renovation work. Thin walls - able to hear activities next door!

The furniture in the rooms were brand new and the rooms were clean. The personal was helpful and friendly. The tv was not working for 3 days up to 4 days that we stayed there. The reception and the lift have still to be renewed and they do not look nice, but the rooms do. It would be nice to have a full size mirror in the room and the hair drier already in the room

The only positive thing was the location. Customers should have been advised the hotel has no TV and no telephone in the rooms. The entrance area, main stairs and other hotel common areas look very poor and dusty due to the on going renovation works. The room was extemely noisy, we could here the other clients in the other rooms. The room was badly isolated and external temperature could be felt inside, we could listen to all external noises (cars passing in the street, the wind and the rain!). The bed was extemely bad!

The room itself was to a very good standard. High ceilings and spacious rooms, were complimented by comfortable beds, a great location and friendly and non intrusive staff. The reception area was under construction as it was being renovated, which was not mentioned and occasional building works could be heard through the morning and day. Not one for the late risers.

Nothing, I have stayed at many hotels and the Cromwell did not give good value for the £256 I spent for two nights. I sat in reception waiting to meet friends and all I heard was other guest complaining. I will never be staying at this hotel again. Poor room standard and attention to details:- No t.v channels. Toilet seat loose. Shower didn't work correctly. Toilet position very uncomfortable to sit on. Small bath room basin, if you swith the main lever on to fill the bowl water shots all over the floor. Door hard tp open as carpet rubs on bottom of door. No room phone. Bathroom light and fan do not turn of unless you remove the room key from the slot.

The staff were very friendly, kind and patient and the cleaning staff did their job very well. It's a little expensive for what you get and because of the renovations I was inconvenienced and did not get real value for money but I'm sure when the renovations are finished it will be a very good hotel if they do not increase the prices.

Clean room, wonderful shower. Good channels on the tv. Staff manners. The elevator reaches only to the fourth floor, while I stayed in the fifth. There is Internet connection only in the lobby, which was going through innovation.

The hotel was undergoing building work and was dirty. The communal shower was broken, the white towels left on the bed were grey and had pieces of used soap on top of them. The bedroom smelt bad. There was a nail sticking out of the plug socket. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. See above

We liked our room, it was cosy, spacious and clean. More over, the location is pretty good, close to the main junctions such as Gloucester and South Kensington stations. The Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens were reachable by hand, that was nice. We enjoyed our time living in Cromwell Crown Hotel. Thank you. However, we could not find how air conditioner works. We were disappointed about the TV because there were only 5 channels to watch. Also, there was no Internet connection in our room.

Location 5 mins to 2 tube stations and 10 mins to natural history museum which was fab for us all, cleanliness, modern. Sainsbury supermarket across the road handy. Loads of places to eat 5 min walk away. Bath and shower inthe room. Great value. Ok rooms were great but on a noisy main road with traffic from 4am. Not a problem after sight seeing all day but if you need sound proofing book the Marriot up the road for 3 times the price. They are converting the rooms but we heard nothing and booked a room that was modernised.
