Great food and nice atmosphere would deffinatly stay again.

Hard to find car parking spaces but its the same in most town centres so you just have to put up with it.

Staff - Location - Breakfast - Bar - Four Poster Bed.

Music fron the bar could be constantly heard in the room.

The room was lovely, everything was clean and well decorated. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful.

Having to park on NCP car park but town centre so can understand that. I love music but playing it so loud I couldn't see the point and to Be fair it wasn't excactly the best music I've heard.

Delightful old house, with very, very friendly staff. On top of that, a good price

Fantastic service and even better food, the beer garden in the sun trap is brilliant. I work in customer service and I can tell you these staff are really,really good at their jobs, you can tell too they are happy working at Cromwells Inn.

We liked the room very much with the 4 poster bed very comfortable, the food was excellent, the staff and service really good throughout our stay.

Excellent staff - all very friendly and helpful. Bar/Restaurant - Good food and well stocked bar with plenty of space indoors and out. Breakfast - Good choice, well cooked and good service. Room - provided all we needed. Location- very central for everything in Shrewsbury.

Room 3 - On the small side with sloping floors and nowhere to sit apart from the bed. No parking on site but public car park within easy walk and reasonably priced.

Location to town centre is good

Central heating was very noisy and difficult to control. Windows wouldn't open a real safety issue! Fragments of glass on floor of bathroom causing cut to my wife's foot.

room 3 very small for a tall person in head space and overall living area, hence why i marked down the comfort level to fair. i hear the other rooms are more spacious.

Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. Also, as there is no parking, the cost of the ncp Car Park was offset by a 15% reduction in our food bill.

No real complaints. There is no parking and you have to park in a nearby ncp Car Park, but what do you expect in a city centre?

We found Cromwells a welcoming friendly place. The staff in the bar/restaurant were attentive to our needs. The food was of a good quality (15% off bar and food for residents). The central location was ideal, everything close by. The Inn was very clean throughout. I would stay there again.

The information book in our room needs updating. The marketing/design needs revamping for example the design and layout was not within keeping of the place. Maybe by adding a breakfast menu!(negative point no vegetarian option, yoghurts or fresh fruit). Also a copy of the restaurant menu would be a good idea, highlighting again the 15% discount. We stayed in room 1 (over the back part of the restaurant) from early evening we could clearly hear music/ people talking and chairs/tables being moved. Although this did stop around midnight, so didn't bother us that much becasue we were out most evenings. The scatter cushions on the bed needed cleaning, they did look grubby, but everything else in the room was spotless.

Location was perfect for the visit, close to sites to visit, shops, bars, & restaurants.

Small room although adequate for the night, could do with a good spring clean, particularly in the bathroom.(I Used to be a hotel housekeeper) Breakfast was basic, I only eat fruit, so asked for a piece fresh fruit, (considerably cheaper than the provided fry-up) & got a cold apple & orange from the frigde, too cold to enjoy.
