Freindly staff! Outside terrace to have a drink. As weather was very warm! Location excellent! Room was clean tidy and well aired!breakfast very good too!

Good restaurant and bar downstairs with good beer and discount for guests. Staff very helpful and accommodating with our tandem! Lots of character to the room. Great central location, everything within ten minutes walk. Free WiFi . Room noisy, on busy street and door to hotel bangs noisily, regularly. Needs blackout curtains. Sheets could have been cleaner and newer. Rather hot. No car parking on site, not a problem for us though.

The breakfast was very good and the location was good. The room was terrible. Very small - even by European standards. The information we had read on the web site said that the downstairs dining room was open until 9:30 pm. It was actually more of a bar and it was open until 11:45. Our room was directly above the bar and it was impossible to get to sleep until it closed due to the loud music.

Breakfast was GREAT! Staff were really friendly. The room was clean, quite small but that wasn't an issue really. The shower is the best I've ever had, could have happily spent the whole trip in there! Would definitely stay again. There was alot of noise from outside but that was not the hotels fault at all.

Staff very pleasant. Comfortable aesthetically-pleasing room. Carbon-recognition lights which end up switching off when you are in the shower. Slight damage to furniture and not all lights worked.

Olde worde hotel, lovely atmosphere, Well kept, clean, right in the centre of Shrewsbury, friendly staff, lovely full English breakfast No parking except very nearby in overnight public street parking.No real problem, but get your spot early.

The old building, lovely food, well placed for walking round the town, friendly, helpful staff. No parking on the premises.Bed and pillows a bit too firm for my liking, but would suit others' tastes .

The price was great, food excellent and staff very welcoming and friendly. Excellent location for an overnight shopping stay, included full english breakfast the next morning which was excellent. Four poster room a real treat as my daughter had never slept in a 4 poster before! Strange noise all night coming from the corner of our room like a pump or maybe fan from next door? We didnt sleep very well due to this. And the blind in bathroom could do with being replaced.

The location for the town was very good. Good food and accommodation. Parking is the real problem - some 600 to 700 yards away and charged by the hour for all hours, I.E.£6.50 a day.

We had a most enjoyable stay at the hotel,the staff were exceptional in every respect and I would have no hesitation in recommending the cromwell's inn. It was a nice place to stay and was excellent value for money. the only aspect was parking which in shrewsbury is to be expected.
