Place was spotless, rooms spacious and clean. Staff were all polit friendly and helpful. Would particularly like to thank Wendy who goes that extra mile. We have stayed there twice now and will definitely be going back and recommending friends.
The accommodation was very good and the room was large and facilities good, tea, coffee and biscuits, also a bottle of filtered water in the room. The staff were very helpful in finding out directions to a certain area that we wished to go.
Breakfast smoked haddock not available although on the menu. Asked for scrambled eggs instead, this was dry and over cooked.
We arrived tired with 5 bikes, which were secured away by a helpful and personable staff- while we prepared ourselves for a great dining experience with fine food and a lakeside setting.
Very friendly staff. Great breakfast and views
The breakfast - lovely and included! Lots of choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The double bed was two singles pushed together - I feel through the middle repeatedly!
Friendly, accommodating and approachable staff. Rooms were of a high standard and very spacious. Breakfast was delicious! An overall enjoyable stay had by all.
Large room and bottled water.
Didn't like people smoking below my window. Had to have the windows open as extremely hot.
Great location Bistro food was very good
The lake and adjacent green play areas full of families enjoying the good weather. Walking across dunes to the beach to see the Mersey entrance and the Gormley artworks Fabulous staff - all helpfull, smiling, pleased to be there.
We had forgotten a couple of things for our 10 month old, but this was not a problem as the staff did all they could to get what we needed. We were also allowed to get dressed for a christening in a room before our check in time as thy had a spare one!

no cooked breakfast as day of visit coincided with strike and hotel is council owned.
Wonderful helpful staff, location, spacious rooms & bathrooms. Excellent buffet breakfast! Very good local restaurants.
We stayed while local council staff held a one day strike so the centre was empty - all a bit strange.
The location was great and friendly staff
The rooms need updating and bathrooms are geared towards pensioners/disabled
Hotel was better than what I expected
Food was poor
The atmosphere and the view of the Lake so relaxing
Beautiful view. Breakfast was good and the front desk was very helpful. Wifi was excellent.

shower had poor presser but uesable, cooked breakfast was very salty, bacon and beans could not be eaten which was a shame because it looked so lovely
Excellent staff, very welcoming, helpful and generally pleasant people. The beach is a lovely 10-15 minute walk away where you will get to see Anthony Gormley's 'Another Place' sculptures. Looking forward to staying again. The onsite gym and restaurants are also very good.
Little sound leakage from the Gym, but this stops before bedtime!
