Soya milk - got it Marmite - got it Dog biscuits - got it You name it they have got it and if not, they will get it. Attention to detail is second to none. We and our dogs could not have been better looked after. Attention to detail is amazing.
A little remote for us but many people would like the location. No other negatives.
The delightful decor The wonderful food The lovely hosts The exeptional service The beautiful location The relaxing environment The little touches that made you feel spoilt Perfect! 10 out of 10 We will return
Everything was perfect!
Cross Lane House is a hotel which has wonder character and ambiance. Comfortable rooms which are all different but to ahigh standard. A resturant which delivers 'master chef' quality food with a limited menu done well.
Nothing really. This was our 2nd stay and probably won't be the last.
Loved the little touches.. Made us feel very relaxed & welcome. Will be recommending to friends.
Everything. The hotel is beautifully furnished and decorated, the food is amazing and we were given the warmest welcome. The hotel is situated in a lovely village and there are good walks from the hotel. Two nights just wasn't enough, we will definitely return.
The owners Andrew and Max were welcoming and attentive. The rooms both bedrooms and public areas are beautifully maintained. Lots of thoughtful little extras that make the stay special. Food is fabulous - reservation for an evening meal should not be missed ,,, but if you can only stay for breakfast then try the waffles! This is a superb boutique hotel that its owners are clearly proud of - and rightly so. Highly recommend.
Our stay here was truly 5* the attention to detail and care taken on every aspect of this hotel was first class the food the room the bed the whole feel we're perfect and for that we say a very big thank you to all the team it was the best

Everything about Cross Lane House was a lovely experience, we can't wait to go back and we plan to have many more mini breaks there. Exmoor is our second home and Cross Lane House is the home from home we will be staying in. J.Frost
Regret that we only stayed one night.
The welcome by the staff and owners. The amazing food including the breakfast. The decor is of a high standard some of which you would see in house and gardens. The price may be a little more than other local places but it is well worth it. The attention to detail is second to none. Thank you
A wonderful haven in the Somerset countryside. Lovely rooms, with lots of added thoughtful touches, warm welcome and excellent service. The freshly cooked breakfasts with lots of local produce were the best we have ever had. Andrew and Max have created a home away from home for their guests.
Fantastic attention to detail, nothing to much trouble, the breakfast selection first class
Having only a one night stay, next time we must stay longer, well done Andrew and Max a little gem

Everything, you think everything is perfect then something else very special will pop up. Amazing.
There is nothing to complain about.
We had a wonderful time at Cross Lane House. The romms were comfortable and clean, Dinner and breaksfast were fantastic. Max and Andrew were warm-hearted and friendly Hosts. We'd love to come back!
The attention to detail is amazing. A beautiful location. Perfect for a relaxing few days.
Nothing to dislike at all!
This is an absolute gem of an hotel. We stayed for two nights in early April and were made to feel so welcome by the owners and staff, who are justifiably proud of what they offer. Decoration and furnishings are of high quality - that very comfortable and comforting English country style. Lots of thoughtful touches like Nespresso machine in the bedroom, crisp cotton bedding, home cooked biscuits, treats for the dogs etc. There was a good choice for breakfast and it was plentiful. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and were spoilt for choice - everything was well cooked and beautifully presented. As the weather was so lovely we were even able to sit outside after dinner in the covered courtyard and enjoy our coffee, together with our dogs. This is a perfect small hotel and will now be our hotel of choice when we visit the Minehead area.
We couldn't stay longer!
