THE WEATHER(NOT THEIR FAULT) HAVING TO COME HOME
Very friendly hosts, lovely room, easy to find, brilliant breakfast, obviously liked by other guests, would definitely use it again. Host very informative on local attractions, obviously very loyal to his area.
A friendly welcome, a comfortable room & a delicious breakfast.
There's a lot to like: the friendly and accommodating proprietors, the clean and comfortable room, the brilliant breakfast, the quiet location, and the 100ft deep Roman well in the foyer!
The shower suddenly went cold on me - the only, very minor, flaw in an otherwise excellent experience!
Warm and friendly, with nothing being to much trouble
Everything perfect Appreciated welcome message on booking with directions.
Sue and Warren are absolutely lovely - so helpful, thoughtful and friendly. Location close to motorway and easy to find but not noisy from motorway traffic. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Clean, clean, clean!!! FAB breakfast! Loved the history of the Well in the hall - thanks Warren!
Separate shower room for family room slightly inconvenient, but we were aware of it so it was fine. Was very clean though.
Friendliness and welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, even having to have my breakfast before the usual breakfast time :-) absolutely spotless throughout. I will be back !
I liked everything about this BandB from the welcome to the room and breakfast. Highly recommended.
The hosts at Crossroads were very friendly and helpful. They advised on things to see very locally (we were only there for one night) where to eat with choices and even where to buyer cheaper petrol before hoping on the motorway
Everything staff,room,location and food
The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly. The guest house is ideally suited for tourists and travellers. This was an enjoyable stay in a lovely place. Thank you
Warm and friendly hosts, good breakfast, comfortable room.
It is in a convenient position near the motorway but the crossroad is very busy. It was far too hot to sleep with the windows closed and I had very little sleep because of almost constant loud traffic noise. This would be less of a problem in winter.
My flight was delayed so I had to make arrangements for a very late arrival. Warren and Sue accommodated me so well. When I arrived tired I felt very safe and at home. The bed was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was delicious.
Very friendly and welcoming, good advice on dog walk locations and where to eat. Bed comfortable, room very clean. Excellent breakfast. Conveniently close to motorway but still quiet. Will definitely use Crossroads again and recommend to friends.
No negative comments at all.
Friendly, helpful owners. Nice rooms.
Mattresses are becoming tired, and could do with replacing.
