Loved the spa bath in the premier room. Well worth the extra money.
Didn't like the dog that chased us down the road at night time coming back in.
Excellent all round,recommend.
The location - just out of the centre but walkable. It was so quiet, peaceful and lovely. Also the owner was extremely friendly and helped us out by lending us his wife's walking shoes and offering good walking routes.
Lovely location, very nice and clean room, superb breakfast. Perfect place for chillax.
The service was second to none. Room extremely clean, spacious and warm. Food excellent. Location fantastic
Bnice and quiet, very convenient to ambleside
Our stay at Crow How was the highlight of our time in the Lake District. The well-appointed rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfasts, and superior location make this a must-visit site for us on our next trip to the region. What a delightful change from the soulless travel chains and well-known hotels!
this is a wonderful country house guest house. the beautiful building is idyllically located with a wonderful garden. the rooms are excellent, clean and spacious. our bathroom had a whirlpool bath as well as a shower and everything was finished to a very high standard. the choice of breakfast was good and very very nice. a fifteen minute walk into ambleside ensures you dont have to worry about parking. there are plenty of walks around the area some of which are supplied in direction form in the guest pack to use at your leisure. little touches like that are what gives crow how that something extra. i would find it difficult to suggest anything that could be done to make our stay better. it was perfect and we will certainly be back next year.
there was nothing we did not like about crow how

Lovely accommodation, spotlessly clean, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms with a relaxing lounge Drying room for clothes and boots when the weather is inclement. Breakfasts were very good with a good choice of menu. Location ideal, with fantastic walks nearby

Great setting in a quiet rural location, yet only a short (10 - 15 min) walk from Ambleside village. Superb bathroom and room (room 1). Good breakfast
Our purpose for visiting was to relax and get away from it all, and Crow How let us do just that. It was in a perfect spot for quietness and yet only a short walk or drive to things we wanted. The garden was so peacful to sit in, and the veiws were lovely. If we are that way again we would certainly stay there again.
Peace and quietness Good location: 15 minutes walk into town. Breakfast very good Lovely garden Cleanliness
