Excellent location a few minutes walk from Ambleside. Food superb. Lovely spacious en suite room . Extremely comfortable bed.

very friendly and comfortable very good breakfasts when we arrived early there was no problem and we were given some coffee and felt very welcome even though our room was not ready so we could leave our things safe while we went to the Langdales ie very accommodating

It was a special annaversary and it was just what we wanted.

It was to short a stay, we could of stayed there for a few days more.

Attention to detail. Little extras provided each day eg. Biscuits and water in room Good choice for breakfast. Clean comfortable room Torch for walking back from Ambleside after dinner.

Nothing to dislike

we only had a couple of nights but enjoyed every minute. Did some lovely walks after the hearty breakfast. Will hopefully visit again later in the year

Staff friendly and helpful. Bird feeders made garden bird watching very enjoyable. Bird book also supplied! Very good quality furniture, fittings etc. Loved the bathroom.

Ideal setting, feeling peacefull yet close enough to walk to pubs and restaurants.

Everything. The accommodation was very comfortable, warm and clean with good facilities. Breakfast was fantastic every day. The staff were very welcoming and always helpful. The location was outstanding. Peace, tranquillity and space being abundant, and with the small town of Ambleside a few minutes walk away, which provides a selection of good restaurants for evening meals. We will return as there is so much more to explore.

The only thing we did not like was having to leave and return to the pressure, noise, and confinement of daily life.

Everything, bedroom beautiful, fabulous super kingsize bed, very comfy. Bathroom with spa bath, wonderful. loved everything.

There wasn't anything we didn't like!

As soon as you walk into the Guest House you feel a sense of calm. The whole place felt comfortable, clean and relaxing. Recommended to anyone getting away from it for a few days.

Very comfortable rooms, with great views. Lovely bathrooms, a luxury. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location.

The location of crow how is great. The rooms beautiful and the feel of the hotel is lovely and calm. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. We loved it.

Everything we wanted was catered for from the excellent breakfast to the DVD cupboard! We especially liked how clean and tidy it was/local information leaflets/location (beautiful)/warmth!/bathroom. A welcome relief from all the cold hotels you get these days!

Location, spotlessly clean, lovely staff, service,comfortable, soft & white towels & bed linen, superb breakfast, spacious room, open fire in sitting room, lovely & warm for winter.

Very relaxing stay again as this was out fourth visit. Extremely clean, peaceful, friendly and a lovely breakfst! Would recommend it every time - a fantastic place to stay
