Was really close to Marble Arch tube station and super close to everywhere in center London. Bed was really nice and the rooms are kinda new.
No elevator, you carry your luggage by stairs on your own. Wifi wasnt always working. Poor breakfast. Really small rooms and very small shower and bathroom. Old building with just make-over(ed) rooms.
Poor staff.room size very small .not fair with this amount worst experience I never had before
This is Hostel not A hotel
General set up of the hotel, bedding and carpets
Good location. Budget accommodation, despite the price tag, but you're paying for the location which was great. Excellent breakfast.
Small details, such as kettle in room not working, shower head broken, tv remote not working. We had a basement room which was basic in decor. However, overall the price for the location and the level of comfort was about right.
The location was perfect! Close to the underground and Hyde Park. The street were the hotel is located is charming and the area is safe.
Perfect location (5 min to underground, 20 min walk to Oxford Street). Very clean. I was offered a double room instead of a booked single. Hot English breakfast. Good traditional pub in 1 min. Wifi worked well. Would stay again! Perfect rest after walking.
Could be a little bit noisy during day/evening if your room face the street and you open the window. But at night very calm and quiet.
The en-suite bathroom was too small for a family room. It did not have any space to move around. The bed was not comfortable. The cleaning stuff was not at most friendly unlike the reception stuff.
location, staff, price
On bus route. Good cooked breakfast. Comfortable room. Helpful staff.
Very small bathroom (not mega problem though)
Perfect location, great room, friendly staff and very nicely cooked bacon and eggs! :)
Location Near everything Room always cleaned The tube are 5min walking distance
Room and bathroom size
Location and staff
Our party of 4 was jammed in a room for 2. No elevators ( which could be informed in their website). We had to climb 3 stores. Not recommended for family or elders.
No hot water in shower on last morning.
Very good location to Central London Staff very friendly Good breakfast
Bathroom very small and decor quite dated
the girl in reception (the supervisor). the housekeeping girl.
the other 2 boys in reception were not friendly and they need to trained in how to serve a customer. the breakfast time finish early.
Location! Right next to Hyde Park and 5 mins from the tube. Beds were comfortable, especially for a budget place. Rooms seemed recently updated with new paint, etc and baths also seemed new (though the shower was TINY and the mirror a bit low. Staff at breakfast was quick to serve fresh brewed coffee and fresh toast. Breakfast was very basic. Fried eggs, english style beans, bacon, and sausage, orange juice, milk, and two types of cereal.
Mold on ceiling in bathroom and window frame in room (which was starting to rot from it) in room 204. Fan in bath was not working properly. Based on comments on booking.com and amount of mold this has been an issue for some time still they chose to put us in this room! We got in late and so decided to sleep in room. The next day we were both feeling a little off and asked to trade rooms. The man at the front desk did not seem surprised by the mold and did not even apologize for the issue. We were told we could change later in the day once rooms were cleaned. We got back from touristing around 10:30 PM and the guy a the front desk said there were no rooms remaining because we had come back so late. I told him we were never told we had to be back by a certain time. I pressed the issue and he somehow found room 401 was empty. Thankfully the room was slightly bigger, the fan in the bathroom worked and there was no mold but the room smelled heavily of weed. We decided this was preferable to mold and aired the room out over the next two days though the smell never really went away entirely. Were it not for the mold and weed smell this would be a good budget option. Rooms are small but offer a comfortable quiet place to sleep near the sights. However the mold was a real issue! The fact that they let it get this bad and still put people in the room makes me question what else may be amiss there. As such, we will not be returning.
Very friendly accommodating front desk staff. Strong (free) wi-fi signal. Lots of tv channels. If you consider the room is just to sleep and store your stuff, the rooms were the perfect size. Great location, close to multiple tube/bus stops! Really close to the quick train to Heathrow Airport!!
Complimentary breakfast was located in a different hotel a few blocks away, and ended really early. I was told that the off-property location wasn't the usual norm, but just happened to be during my whole stay there. The hotel could use a little touch up paint, but it wasn't bad at all. Bathrooms were small, but as a solo traveler I could leave the door open and not feel claustrophobic while getting ready.
Friendly Staff, clean room, location.
Was told to walk to some other hotel for breakfast. I couldn't be bothered looking for the place and went to McDonalds instead.
Helpful manager and good location
Small rooms, small bathroom. The hotel is also strict. I got caught of staying with my sisters (3 people in the standard-2 people max room) as a result i have to pay extra bed fee which is not worth it at all since the room is very small anyway. So we decided to move to the quad room. Fortunately, the manager was being very helpful in arranging the rooms.
location hot water 24h. service daily cleaning
-breakfast was served in another hotel 5 minutes away -mats were bad -extremely small bathroom
its a comfy hotel in a good area
the was just too small for two persons and two luggagages and if u do a sign that recognize u from outside I will be better and easy
The staff is useless, my TV did not work and i asked for help, they said "i do not know about TVs !!!. No elevator and the stairs are really narrow and uncomfortable. Room and bathroom are very small, cannot use the sink until you open the bathroom door !!! beds are really uncomfortable and they move while sleeping....thanks god i spent just a night no more....
Location is great, front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included is basic but well presented and made to feel welcome.
Room and bathroom cramped.
Location, Helpful staff, New and clean furniture, Room service, Delicious breakfast, Free WIFI
The room is a bit small but we could adapt as we stayed most of the time out and used the room only to sleep
As you walk into the hotel the reception area is small but tidy and welcoming. (Making a good but false impression of what's yo come)
Found a cockroach in the room and one dead one by the woardrobe. Also a dead spider and a few flys. We were located a family room in the basement which was dark and cramped. Bathroom you can hardly move in as it's so small. Tv in room which the wires were cut so didn't work. Apart from 2 memeets of staff, the rest were rude and made us feel very unwelcome. Reception desk was empty for 7 mins as we came in so used the downstait's toilet. Was shouted at for using it! Breakfast was sparce. Not a full English. Not even half I would say.
