Location heating stayed on all night so we could control our rooms temperature
Very small room and bathroom but has we spent no time in the room only to sleep or shower not really a problem for a 2 night stay Breakfast was very good and the girls /staff serving were very polite and attentive if we was visiting Hyde park again then we would stay in the craven again
Good location, Lancaster Gate tube station 5 minutes, WiFi performs well, full English breakfast
Rooms are REALLY small,
The hair dryer didn't work, the shower wouldn't stand by itself so I was forced to hold it, also the shower was blocked so it over flowed into the floor. At first they gave me a room I didn't order and said 'at least it's a bigger room' the room wasn't the room shown on the pictures and the room was freezing
Black mold, bed bugs, and cockroaches
Staff in breakfast room were excellent. Location was good and reasonably near tube station
Poor facilities in cramped bedroom. Bed uncomfortable . TV did not work . Window was not double glazed and the door did not appear to be fire proofed. No sitting area in lobby
Good location Wifi in the room.
Small room Small bathroom
Location is good between Paddington & Lancaster Gate. Room was clean & smelt fresh.
Room was too hot - had to leave window open all night as I couldn't sleep letting in alot of noise. Spoke to 3 different staff none of which could or would do anything about it over 2 nights & 3 days. Wi-fi also unable to download or send emails 'for security reasons' which is ridiculous for business travellers. Room not as good as from that of my first stay there a few months ago. Room was up 3 floors & 6 flights of narrow stairs.
freindly team : Raquel and Mohammad
Please try to put a note : "Please close the door carefully"
The area is great, two late night shops open to get some food by the late night.
Poor wifi Almost fall down from the bed, it's made for a midget
Liked all therefore have booked this hotel again.
staffs are so nice. bathroom is big. location is good, quite close to underground, bus stops and hyde park.
wifi connection is so weak. the first day, staff forgot to close our door after cleaning, when we back, the door is open....
The staff where friendly, the hotel was clean and tidy, the breakfast was very good.also it was a good location.
The rooms are small also the bathroom but for a short stay it was not a problem
Shower was working fine. Wi Fi didn;t have any problems
Extremely noisy rooms. No temperature control system. No lift or porter to carry the luggage. Extremely noisy rooms. You can even hear a loud noise in your room when someone used a shower upstairs.
very central and easy to get to from Heathrow. lively area room spotless every day.friendly helpful staff
smallest shower iv,e ever seen room was very compact to say the least no lift
Location, refurbished hotel
poor wifi, no elevator
Helpful staff. Cleanliness of room. For an overnight stay absolutely spot on
Staircases a bit shabby. Tiny shower
Good location, quite near the undergeound. Great park nearby, worth visiting. Nice breakfast. NIce contemporary bathroom, though very small. Clean.
Extremely small rooms. The single rooms do not have a proper window and ventilation and should definitely be avoided. The wi-fi is very weak and practically does not function. Poor sound insulation.
Great location,clean room and bathroom
Room and bathtub were too small. It looks much bigger on the photos. Breakfast wasn't good at all, there wasn't much to choose between.
Location close to Hyde park and Lancaster Gate underground station.
Exceptionally small room at the top of the house.
Position and continental breakfast
room too small without a chair and table to work with computer. No space to work in reception. This hotel is just good for tourist in vacation, not for business.
We didn't like
The room I stayed in (Single) was clean, and the fellow at the desk volunteered to help me carry my baggage up three flights of stairs to my room. The location near Hyde Park and the West End was also ideal, as the location was close to transportation hubs (though these weren't really necessary--I could just walk where I needed to go).
There were a couple cons: 1) The room was tiny, even for Central London; 2) There was no lift. I am not handicapped, but it certainly made managing my significant amount of luggage difficult; and 3) None of my wi-fi capable devices could connect to the Craven Hotel's wi-fi. I ended up having to buy access through BT Openzone.
Location is very good and close to Lancaster gate tube station Staff are good and friendly Breakfast was good
I stayed there for 5 nights and they did not replace the soap provided from day, despite reminding them! The bed was REALLY uncomfortable, you can basically fall off it if you shuffle slightly since its so unstable. Breakfast room is extremely tight and can get very uncomfortable if its full (but then again you get to chat with other guests so its a nice change)
It's 4 floors building without elevator. The stairs is very narrow. It's difficult to carry the baggage to the top floors.
