It was a little noisy room
The wifi worked perfectly troughout all the hotel. There is a subway station 3m walking from the hotel, besides a bus stop (Lancaster gate).
Our room was incredibly small, nothing to do with the photos on booking. The fire alarm started ringing when my girlfriend was drying her hair, so imagine how small rooms are. The breakfast wasn't continental (or full) as stated, it was English breakfast and a poor one. We were there for four nights and we only had breakfast there on the first one; there is a Pret-a-manger nearby which offer plenty of options for a fair price. There is no lift and the stairway is a little dangerous.
Central location, not too busy a road, parking on street outside, friendly receptionist, better than average breakfast for a value hotel
No complaints. I learned years ago to be content with clean basic accommodation. What does one expect in central London for £50 for two, booked online at the last minute. All fine.
Location was great! A few min walk from the hotel.
Some elevator or ventilation fan that went on and off all night.
price, no elevator, really small room small bed
Amazing stafff :)))
Simple, clean no frills
Location is a walking distance from Lancaster Gate underground station and Paddington.Close by grocery and Laundry.
Small room. Bad hygiene. Found insects crawling on my bed. Staff are not well trained or friendly. Carry your own bags. Room keys are ridiciously large.
The staff were nice and helpful, and the breakfast & bathroom (shower) was good.
Room was cold even after window was shut. Room didn't look anything like the picture on Booking.com. The window was too high to see out of and this made it feel a bit like a cupboard. Expected more comfort. Bed was not comfy!
Stayed Saturday night with two young children, 7&9, had family room which was downstairs near breakfast room. Room was clean, smelt clean with nice white bedding, towels provided. Room was quite, occasional tube rumbled by but not to disturb sleep think stopped at 12pm. Tube station very close, nice pub just down broad, close to Hyde Park for Winter wonderland, cooked breakfast in the morning was good, happy I booked this hotel as after reading other reviews was worried, would go back again
Tiny rooms and showers Very poor breakfast Very poor wifi Should be much cheaper
First booked a single room for one night, with breakfast included for £180,so was expecting it to be good at that price, on arrival, paid for the room. Was so disappointed when I went up to the room, it was dark cold, the smell was terrible, it was like going into a hospital. I immediately went down stairs and told the receptionist, that I wasn't happy with the room and I wasn't staying there after paying that amount of money and I asked for a refund, he informed me his manager wouldn't be there until tomorrow morning, so he could not refund me. I asked him to call his manager as I wanted to speak to them, she insisted to the receptionist an upgrade to a family room instead, for the same price, before I agreed I went up to check this room, After 3 flights of stairs,I got to the room, to be fair it was much better than the single room, Shower was small, it was pretty standard, so I just agreed to stay in that room, at that stage it was late so finding another hotel in London on a Saturday night would nearly be impossible. Overall So disappointed, definitely wont be staying here again.
The location of hotel. All the hotel staff are very good.
The room and toilet are too small. There is no evaluator.
Location heating stayed on all night so we could control our rooms temperature
Very small room and bathroom but has we spent no time in the room only to sleep or shower not really a problem for a 2 night stay Breakfast was very good and the girls /staff serving were very polite and attentive if we was visiting Hyde park again then we would stay in the craven again
Good location, Lancaster Gate tube station 5 minutes, WiFi performs well, full English breakfast
Rooms are REALLY small,
The hair dryer didn't work, the shower wouldn't stand by itself so I was forced to hold it, also the shower was blocked so it over flowed into the floor. At first they gave me a room I didn't order and said 'at least it's a bigger room' the room wasn't the room shown on the pictures and the room was freezing
Black mold, bed bugs, and cockroaches
Staff in breakfast room were excellent. Location was good and reasonably near tube station
Poor facilities in cramped bedroom. Bed uncomfortable . TV did not work . Window was not double glazed and the door did not appear to be fire proofed. No sitting area in lobby
Good location Wifi in the room.
Small room Small bathroom
Location is good between Paddington & Lancaster Gate. Room was clean & smelt fresh.
Room was too hot - had to leave window open all night as I couldn't sleep letting in alot of noise. Spoke to 3 different staff none of which could or would do anything about it over 2 nights & 3 days. Wi-fi also unable to download or send emails 'for security reasons' which is ridiculous for business travellers. Room not as good as from that of my first stay there a few months ago. Room was up 3 floors & 6 flights of narrow stairs.
freindly team : Raquel and Mohammad
Please try to put a note : "Please close the door carefully"
The area is great, two late night shops open to get some food by the late night.
Poor wifi Almost fall down from the bed, it's made for a midget
Liked all therefore have booked this hotel again.
staffs are so nice. bathroom is big. location is good, quite close to underground, bus stops and hyde park.
wifi connection is so weak. the first day, staff forgot to close our door after cleaning, when we back, the door is open....
The staff where friendly, the hotel was clean and tidy, the breakfast was very good.also it was a good location.
The rooms are small also the bathroom but for a short stay it was not a problem
