Crown Lodge provides highly recommended B&B accommodations with free private parking, just outside Torquay’s bustling center of town and harbor. Torquay Beach is a 15-minute walk away. The well-presented property has recently been refurbished. Crown Lodge is of a 4-star standard, verified by awards given by Visit Britain and the AA. New beds, quality soft furnishings and flat-screen DVD/TVs are just some of the comforts provided to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The owners Linda and John made us very welcome from the time we arrived. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet with good facilities. Breakfast was delicious and filling with wide variety. Tea and coffee facilities in room and a small fridge for drinks. Overall we enjoyed our stay which was in a good location for Torquay harbour, Dartmoor, Kents Caverns and many other tourist attractions, not to mention the endless beautiful coastline. Thanks to Linda and John for a very pleasant, relaxing stay. Would definitely stay again.

Everything! Including the room, cleanliness, service, food, & location was excellent. Proprietors were very helpful (some 4* hotels would have trouble trying to compete with the Crown Lodge) Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone

Easy to find, very nice people who ran it made you feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again. Room was lovely very clean and modern. It was good having a parking space to. Great Breakfast. It was on a busy road very noisy. Good 20 minutes walk to the beach.

The Hotel provided very high quality accommodation and the attention to detail of the owners was extremely impressive. There was nothing that did not come up to or exceed our expectations and therefore there was nothing not to like.

Zeer vriendelijk bed en breakfast hotel. Zeer netjes en een geweldig echtpaar dat alles doet om hun gasten te verwennen. Zeer goed ontbijt, waarbij rekening wordt gehouden met de wensen van de gasten. Niets dan lof!! Prijs -kwaliteit verhouding is zeer goed.

La qualité des équipements de la chambre, la propreté, les petites attentions dans la chambre. L’accueil est chaleureux. Petit-déjeuner correct et copieux. Rapport qualité prix correct Le lit est bruyant, la proximité de la route passante et bruyante , mais avec la fenêtre fermée, c'est supportable.
