Food good, room very nice with a sweet little lounge. Nice and quiet.
No shower mat, the securing device on the shower was broken. No literature on the hotel and area was available in the room. The stable block was isolated from the main complex which meant that when wet a bit of a problem.
Four poster bed, nice room, quiet location
Breakfast was cooked, but not very hot.
Great large room with 4 poster. Nice big tv.The pictures of Keith Moon in the bar. Excellent food in the restaurant. Buffet breakfast was good. Nice bar
There was nothing not to like in this hotel.
broken couch..dressing table blocks all light and air.
food excellent with staff in the restaurant very pleasant and helpfull
bed was not very comfortable
Helpfulness of staff when I arrived
Traffic noise kept me awake. The bed was very uncomfortable and short! The pillows are rock hard and very uncomfortable.
Location in the town was good
Booked a 'four poster room', felt like we were staying in the staff quarters. Make sure you get a room in the original building, not the annex buildings (of which there are many) as our room had no natural light, and our room looked out onto a corridor. Reception staff couldn't care less that we had an interrupted sleep. Breakfast poor.
Bed noise to much road noise.
Location was good for Blenheim Palace. Room was of a good size but looked better than it actually was. Excellent breakfast - Full English
4 poster bed looked cute but was so uncomfortable. Duvet was only the width of the bed - too small. Heating didn't work. Fairly expensive
The staff were absolutely lovely. VERY helpful and kind. Although thiswas the first night of the fair we did not hear it or were disturbed by it. The room was large and very comfortable and everything worked.
Convenient stay for the Cotswold area.
Was not aware that the street fair was taking over the high street during our stay.
Good value for money for a single room the place was clean. The breakfast was ok. We did not have cooked but no one offered it either. Good central position and carpark
Not a very friendly greeting at reception The bed felt as though it had no mattress very hard, Bathroom needs updating
nice bar and food,good position
bed mattress springs showing through ,good shower ,w.c. not useable due to its closeness to cubicle on one side and wall on other side.
Swimming pool and location. Main building is original old corch house, that alone gives you already 'You are in Cotswold!' Very good location, easy access to such as Stow, Upper/Lower Slaughter etc. Clean, good-sized indoor swimming pool, my husband & I took time out to swim whilst our friends are shopping in Chippin Norton.
Management and staff are all friendly and attentive. The Hotel is very well located for access to the whole of the Cotswolds area. It is quiet, the food and standard of accommodation is good value for money. I would return
Great location for this pub. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby.
Old world and a bit dated. No hairdryer in the room which was unusual.
Good value for money.
The mattress on the bed was too thin. The night there was spoilt by some idiot falling asleep with his TV on loud in the next room. Had to wake him at three in the morning to tell him to turn it off.
Hotel was good Clean & Tidy
Breakfast wasn't cooked properly
Internet access not working. Breakfast items not replenished quickly enough.
We found the hotel very friendly and welcoming.we were presented with a complimentary bottle of bubbly as it was our wedding anniversary which was a lovely. Gesture
Friendly staff ,room was clean & comfortable ,bar meals & breakfast were good value
Overall everything was good but staff could have been a bit more friendly and chatty and smiley! And the bar was very noisy at night. But enjoyable and we were both happy.
Everything is 5 star, from the welcome at the desk, to assistance with little snags, to the swimming pool, and especially to the bar meals which are truly excellent value, varied and delicious. And they serve a good pint of Hooky too.
The courtyard was lovely The bed was very comfortable The position was excellent Bar staff pleasant and helpful Car park very useful Jazz afternoon and evening very pleasant surprise Nice hot water Good internet access
I mentioned my blue badge when booking but was put on the second floor up two narrow staircases and expected to carry my suitcase, asked to be moved and went down one floor. Restaurant closed on both evenings. Bar meals only. Full English came without bacon. Expected to make own toast. Because of jazz no room in the bar. Nice weather so didn't matter that I had to sit outside. Sash on windows broken and difficult to open TV too small to watch from bed
I liked that it was a quaint hotel and it went with the town really well. I also likes the pool and exercise room.
The front desk staff was not friendly at all and the breakfast service was extremely slow even though there was barely anyone there. Also the wireless didn't work in our room very well.
