Hotel vecchio, le stanze hanno la moquette sporca. Attualmente in ristrutturazione. Richiesto deposito di £ 50 come se si stesse in un grand hotel ma l'unoca cosa che si può prendere sono I tubi delle impalcature. Dovrebbero darlo loro il deposito nel caso crolli l'hotel!

The location of the Crowne Plaza is excellent. It is in the center of town. The room was quiet.

The Crowne Plaza is very, very over-priced. The room furnishings are older and a little shabby. One of the chairs in our room was badly worn and had several holes in the upholstery. The TV's are old and pre-date flat panel TV's. The hotel charges 15 Pounds per day for Wifi.

Poor lighting in bedroom. The original door cards did not work and had to be replaced needing a return to reception be replaced

Great for disabled guests too

Family room was reasonably sized. Location right in centre of city Valet parking was easy because parking in Cambridge is normally very difficult.

Zero view from our room which faced inwards. Parking was £18 per day.

Front desk and bar staff friendly.

Over-priced, and room charge did not include breakfast. Room furnishings were badly worn--lamps and furniture chipped, carpet stained, furniture marred by glass rings. Phone charges outrageously high--2 pounds for placing an 0800 call; 5 pounds for connection and first minute of European calls (phone co. Charges for this probably 20-30 P. Room wifi outrageously expensive--23 pence per minute or 33 pounds for three days (despite the presence in the room of a price card showing 22 pounds per day--front desk staff lamely explained the card was out-of-date). Windows meant to open to admit fresh air were bolted shut. All in all an inferior but expensive hotel.

Excellent staff - could not have been more helpful. Interested to know why so many of the staff were from abroad.

Excellent friendly service

No one was there to greet us when we first arrived so we were unsure where to park the car, or indeed if we were supposed to leave it out the front for the hotel staff to park

Convenient location. Nice comfortable spacious rooms. Clean and good value for money.

Charging for wi-fi, it is just ridiculous particularly as the pub next door has it for free.

The Crown Plaza is a clean hotel, the staff are helpfull, friendly and polite. It's location is great for the centre of Cambridge and all Cambridge has to offer.

When I went into my room I found a note on the bed saying there would be road works that night outside my window. The noise was so loud I got up to check that my room window was closed. For a hotel of this level I was shocked to find such a poor quality ill fitting and dirty window. It was sometime between 3.30 and 4.00 am sunday morning the road works stopped. If I had beem given the facts before going to the hotel, and still chose to stay. Well it would have been my problem and own fault. One more thing, £18.00 to park your car overnight in the hotel carpark, that is over the top.

The beds are comfortable and the guest rooms are spacious---which one would expect from a hotel in this category. The location is quiet, the gym adequate.

Despite its high rate, guests have to pay for wifi in guest rooms, which is rather unheard of these days. The TV has a very limited number of channels. But the most serious deficiency is that room windows cannot be opened to let in some fresh air. This in itself is a reason not to book a room in this hotel anymore, never mind the very friendly and helpful staff.
