Crowne Plaza London - The City  

nice room, good mattress, very clean good TV channel choice, nice shower.

Tad expensive but not by much. If breakfast had been included I would have been happy with the price.

The location, the large room, comfortable beds, warmth, ease of walking to places of interest, lovely breakfast, friendly staff, great room service food. Overall a lovely hotel.

Only a small issue - At times we got conflicting advice from different members of staff - a little confusing eg whether to book at taxi or to chance it at the time

The deluxe bedroom was fantastic, very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. A great location for exploring the City of London.

Could not change the temprature in the room despite trying but only an issue as it was very cold night.

Location was very good, close to the train station Blackfriars so very convenient for travellers. Also the rooms are quite silent, specially at night.

Found the gym area, did not have anything to clean what was used after a workout. Which isn't good. Found the breakfast price @ 20 GBP quite high though.

The location for attending a New Yera's Eve bash on Southbank was perfect, especially been across the road from Blackfriars Tube. Fabulous view of City skyline from our bedroom. Clean, modern hotel, tending towards business users. Quiet area too.

Good sized, well equipped room. Well located close to Blackfriars station, City, St Pauls and river services.

WIFI needs extra payment, 5 Pound per hour. The shower is very weak, water has no pressure!

Lovely clean comfortable room.

Had to wait 10 mins to be seated at breakfast lots of empty tables but none cleared. Most food had run out and had to repeatedly ask for essentials such as butter, orange juice, tea. Had to wait 2o min for tea and Only came after asking for 4 times. Hotel out of the way.

We stayed for the Jubilee weekend because we were at a wedding in London and wanted to experience the Jubilee atmosphere.It is situated right by the river, has an underground station opposite and was near to our wedding venue.It was extremely comfortable, the facilities in the room were superb especially the comfortable bed and the staff very helpful.The atmosphere in the hotel was calm, quiet and efficient. A super spot to stay.

First coming to positives - The Location. Crowne Plaza is situated at a convenient location, just a min walk from Thames and in front of Blackfriars Tube Station. Staff at reception was accommodating and polite. The hotel leaves you with an immediate impression of being a world class luxury, at the first sight. But when you enter the room, you feel disappointed. The more you stay in, the more disappointment grows. You feel irritated about so many things, repeated delay in room service, not enough cleanliness in the room, to name a few. The worst happens when you find that the water bottle you kept in the room is half empty when you reach in the evening and you are left wondering is this a world class hotel chain, the same - proclaimed luxury?

location is prefect, service is excellent.

the hotel tried to dishonor the availability of free wireless internet, and then they said that booking.com should have not gave this facility for free

Very comfortable hotel. Rooms spacious and had all amentities. We ate in the Chinese restaurant and thought it was excellent.

Not impressed with shower managed to get my hair wet because I couldn't turn on the controls without ducking on the shower head. I hadn't intended washing my hair for the second time in one day. Spent the weekend trying to duck the spray as I turned on the controls. The shower didn't match the excellence of the room.

It was very well located for our purposes , an easy 10 min stroll to theatre land , or short taxi journey , as the weather was awful .

Only small complaint , the bar hours said " until late " and we tried at 1pm on returning from a function we'd attended ( late I admit ) . The bar was closed , simply putting the opening hours would be better

Location and cleanlyness

I liked everything about this hotel, clean, friendly, lovely rooms, food was fantastic, great location. Loved every minute here. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will defiantly stay here again!!!! The staff were also friendly and very helpful!!
