room was not ready when arrived at 3.20pm even though check in is 2pm. Not acceptable when paying £203 for room only!

Very good location and food in. Restaurant was good

No towels only hand towel only one cup for hot drinks in room worst of all not been vacuumed and was dusty .

Staff were very friendly and helpful. My youngest (age 11 years) ate for free.

That the price of the room wasn't discounted as the minibar was being refurbished and didn't work. We would have liked that option as we got ready to go out for the evening.

Close proximity to lg arena and modern feel about it

Very close to the lg arena, a great location if you're attending a concert. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was ok, buffet style, but food not of great quality. Staff were friendly.

My daughter and I stayed for one night and both felt the room could do with a redec. The furniture was very old and marked and had seen better days. It wasn't good value for money in comparison to other 4* hotels.

On arrival we had been met with a man at reception who didnt explain anything just wanted my card details and was talking 100 miles and hour. Wasnt told where we could find our room either. The room was ok no biscuits or milk. Peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast was shocking, we had gone down at 8:30 and the hot food wasnt nice.

Great for lg arena clean and comfortable accommodation

Constant noise coming from the ceiling void possibly the air conditioning vent as we were on the top floor kept us awake all night and left us very weary for the journey home thus ruining our weekend

Staff amazing - very helpful. We were stranded here as we were supposed to see pink but she cancelled :((( The staff were fab - free taxi to train station, advising which train to get to centre of Birmingham and back again! So we were able to at least enjoy a night out!

The rooms were very comfortable with all the amenities you need.

The restaurant was not open until 6pm. As we were there for a concert and were celebrating both mine and my daughters birthdays we would of liked a nice meal beforehand but felt we had little time. Feedback from food service at the bar was poor so we didn't bother trying that.

The location was perfect for us as we were going to a gig at the lg Arena in the nec, so it made the whole process very easy! The check in staff were incredibly pleasant and we were able to check in at 11.30 without question which was very helpful and convenient for us. The room was clean as were the towels and the free water was a nice touch.

The hotel is somewhat generic and the bed was a little soft. Our friends had a problem with the heating in their room which made it extremely hot, so hot they had to move rooms (we would have had too but we opened the window as soon as we arrived and left it open all afternoon) but then we think a lot of hotels keep the temperature too high now.....

Everything was brilliant ,staff ,meals attention to detail nothing was to much trouble, we were even able to check-in when we arrived at 11.30 as there was rooms available.

Annoying fan that started going off early hours of the morning didn't complain as we didn't think anything could be done at that time of night.

Payment was not made. Overcharged by card being charged for room service which was paid in cash. 3 telephone calls later still not resolved. Customer service/complaints badly handled
