The service was superb staff went out of their way to accommodate us made sure we were comfortable made our stay a truly and great and unique experience had to book an extra night due to the satisfaction received.
Staff were obviously trained and wanted to be helpful
the breakfast and size od standard room
our bedroom door on 3 occasions wouldn't lock. It seemed to hav a delay on it-so shut the door, wait 5 mins and then it would eventually make a click sound and lock. However, on 3 occasions we couldnt get it to lock. We told recption staff, who said they would get maintenance on it but we never heard anything back and door still wouldn't lock. Very dissapointing too to find the hotel's pool shut for maintenance without being told. Our departure flight was a late evening one and so we purposefully paid extra for a nice hotel with a pool so our boys could hav a swim. There was no advance warning of its closing and no real apology either. Also, we ate in the bar area on the first night. The service was not good-we ordered drinks from waiter that were 30 mins late, an extra portion of chips that never showed up and 3 out of the 5 meals we ate we werent happy with. We complained about all of this on our day of departure but still no-one has emailed a response as they said they would. All in all, a very disappointing stay that will certainly make me reconsider staying at a crown plaza again. Not good.
Price / value was acceptable. Good, friendly and helpful personnel and level of comfort. Good breakfast buffet. Short Hoppa bus ride to Terminals 1&2.
Standard Wi-Fi is very slow. Weight room in fitness center was closed for refurbishment.
It was a comfortable overnight stop before our flight
We stayed here because of the proximity to Heathrow. The hotel was reasonably priced and a pleasant return to admittedly bland North American environs after a week in boutique (small rooms, elevators, pricy) hotels in Paris and London. Indian restaurant in hotel had excellent food and service. We were served by Logesh who was fantastic. The pool facilities were also very good.
Didn't dislike anything. The hotel delivers exactly what is to be expected from an airport hotel.
Great hotel, beautiful facilities.
I expected a courtesy bus to take me to Heathrow , £5 single journey fee!! What a money making scheme for a 2 mile journey!
Pillows were very poor
Comfort, room furnishings, peaceful location.
Corridor carpeting starting to look a bit jaded.
Location to Heathrow excellent with no aircraft noise.
Asked for an accessible room, was given one furthest from lift. Poor choice of bar food. Staff expected to be tipped.
Efficient and friendly check in. Great club room facilities. comfortable room and bed.
Very good for short stay prior to flying out overseas or flying in. Good position, comfortable rooms, great Irish pub, good restaurant
Room size, cleanliness quality of toiletries.
Main restaurant outside of company dinner budget. Pub full but menu looked good. Indian restaurant looked good and had space but food average service poor. Discretionary service charge refused.
1 night stay due to business travel. Room was incredibly noisy as directly above loading bay and from 5am lorry deliveries and rubbish collection. Shower only produced luke warm water and bathroom rather dated. Receptionist completely uninterested when I advised of bad night sleep and water temperature. I wont be staying again.
Wi-fi:very slow Breakfast: school dinner quality Coffee: Was it coffee or was it tea? Or did they decide to mix the two to make life easier for the inattentive staff
Everything except the bed
Hard lumpy pillows
Staff took time to listen and help, even with matters like return of our hire-car. Room was spacious, bed huge and linen crisp. Breakfast offers extensive choice.
Room desk was a bit tired, but functioned fine.
The staff are friendly, approachable and bent over backwards to make our stay and event as enjoyable and smooth running as possible. The food is excellent, the beds comfortable, the gym full of brilliant equipment and the cost to stay is very reasonable.
The website said the gym and swimming pool weren't open, but the gym was open when we got there. I didn't take my gym stuff because I thought it wouldn't be open. Better communication on the website would improve the customer experience.
My lamb steak meal was delicious and the food was hot. Husband loved the raspberry crème brulee although his steak was chewy!
The car park barrier was difficult to exit as the machine didn't accept our ticket - we had to press the help button. This happened also to the car in front of us.
Helpful staff, Indian restaurant on site, no airplane noise, comfortable beds and pillows.
Cab fare to airport is L11. Duvets are too warm. Free wifi is a little slow.
Spacious, clear, good rooms. Good Indian restaurant onsite, good breakfast, and attentive staff.
The gym was under renovations so the temporary facilities were a bit cramped. However, this should be solved in a few weeks.
Pillows and donnas and gorgeous soft fluffy towels Great easy location for late arrival into heathrow
The hotel was of good quality with pleasant reception and bar area. The bedroom was large and well equipped. The food (bar and breakfast) was very good.
The bathroom sink drain did not work. Clearly this was not working when the room was serviced before I came to the hotel. I had a meal in the bar and the receipt when it came did not make clear a service charge was already included. I complained the next morning about the drain and bar bill. The staff were very apologetic and I received the usual responses and promises that someone would contact me but I'm still waiting! There is a shuttle to the airport (£8 return fare) but it takes longer than the web site implies. The restaurant was not very inviting although the menu looked good.
The room was clean, tidy and large with a large desk. Room service was excellent,
Not enough milk supplied.
