The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Having a family of 6 made it difficult for us to locate a hotel that would allow all of us to stay in one room. The Crowne Plaza enabled us to do so with the double twin room. Yes, the location is isolated so unless you have your own transportation it is difficult and expensive to get out of the hotel for a variety of food choices. Also, though perhaps not expensive compared to other options, the price of the room was exactly that -- just the room. Everything else is an extra charge. There are no included "extras" in the room rate. |

Rooms large and very comfortable; staff mostly very helpful and professional. When we arrived there was not enough room to store our things until check in time. The shuttle bus service to and from the airport was very poor. Although operated National Express the hotel needs to take responsibility for it. I made four trips on the shuttle bus which was supposed to run every 20 minutes. Three out of those four times I waited more than half an hour. |

The hotel facilities were very nice. The service was a little dissappointing. The Hotel would not accept my VISA Debit card (the only merchant that has done so). |

Stayed because of the hotel proximity to Heathrow, Windsor and London. Special room rate provided much better value for money than central London with added value of Windsor, upper Thames etc. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. Would prefer usable refrigerator than fully stocked bar fridge, this is more suited to business traveler. |

We found the whole experience from check in until we left - unfortunately all too brief - was such a positive experience and a wonderful antidote to the trials and frustrations that seem to occur all too often with pre-booked accommodation. My traveling companion commented on the superb "makeover" since her last visit to you in 2005. Well done. Notification of the Heathrow to Hotel courtesy bus and associated costs and boarding instructions would be helpful in advance (at the time of booking). In addition some simple explanation could have helped with the challenge of finding the right terminal etc when either flying in or coming via the Tube as we did when connecting from Eurostar. |

I have been staying at this Hotel for the last 15 years, through both make overs, the rooms are large and very comfortable. I will continue to stay when I am south and in that area. The makeover has made the foyer very hospital like, Nickos the restaurant has closed down so you are limted to food. The one restaurant is very clinical and expensive, breakfast is expensive, 17.50 week days, 13.50 weekends. Any fool can serve, beans, sausage, toasts etc. |

The facilities were good and reflected our anticpation of what to expect from the website. There were a number of aspects of our stay that were far from good. The rules for use of the swimming pool were far from clear, and we were given diffierent advise from different members of staff. Staff were generally pretty unhelpful, and when we took this up with the manager she was more focused on demonstating that we had simply not understood the situation. |

The staff were incredibly helpful in every way possible, we were very thankful! The pool closed at 11pm, and we had arrived late from our train and were leaving the next day; however, we did catch a morning swim as it opened at 5:30am, so this was fine and understandable! |
