Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Facilities were excellent and standard of rooms was excellent. Beds were super comfy! Had a brilliant nights sleep.

Excellent location and extremely friendly staff. Beds very comfy (inc.relaxing pillow spray, which I'd never seen before) and breakfast offering a wide choice. Decent pool and spa facilities included. Highly recommended.

We have stayed a number of times at this hotel, staff are always friendly and helpful from first point of call in reception to the cleaners.

The staff were excellent, from the waitresses to the receptionists and bedroom maids. Everyone was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was very comfortable, immaculate linen and very clean. The breakfast was to die for, with loads of choice to cater for different tastes. The leisure facilities were good and not over crowded.

Room and location were OK All the staff within the hotel during my stay were excellent.

There is a breakdown in communication between Booking.com and Crowne Plaza when it comes to booking twin rooms. The rooms I booked with Booking.com were twins but by the time I was due to arrive they were doubles with Crowne Plaza. I rang up the hotel direct to slightly amend one room at which point I found 6 of my twin rooms were doubles! I asked to amend to twins but there were no twins left, they were however able to provide me sofa beds in the double rooms. When I tried to explain the breakdown to the Crowne Plaza reservations clerk she refused to look into it, and told me it was my mistake. I found this particularly frustrating as I was giving the feedback to assist yourselves and future guests. Due to the lack of interest in looking into the problem neither I nor the group I organise travel for will use IHG again.

The gentleman on the reception desk was very pleasant and very helpful. Rooms where comfortable and good location as not to far from Leeds city centre x

I was recommend that I drive to the location I required in Leeds after my stay as it would be at least a 10 minute drive. When in fact it was less than a 5 minute walk which meant I had to find parking again and pay again. Staff should know the local area!

The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They made the stay very relaxing.Would stay again because of this. Breakfast excellent good variety.

Bathroom could do with updating

Two comfortable double beds in a room.

Promised robes in all our rooms. Only in one room out of five. Vacuuming in the hallway at 9am. Check in at 2pm waited till 3pm for one room.

Bed was very very comfortable and staff were helpful and polite. Great pool.

Lovely room, very clean and modern. Nice spa facilities too, staff were very friendly and helpful, good price for the facilities and location too (about 10/15 min walk from train station)

Not much choice on the evening menu, the food wasn't amazing either. Luckily I had a voucher for 2 for 1 main courses, I would not have been happy paying £19 per person for what we got. There are plenty of restaurants in Leeds to choose from over the hotel restaurant. Didn't bother with breakfast for £16 per person either!

Location to centre. Staff were excellant -very friendly and professional. The hotel itself is badly in need of renovation. The rooms are tired and dirty which spoilt our stay.

Dirty rooms, stains on bedding, dirty bathrooms - we felt dirtier coming out! There was very few people using the restaurant or bar the night we stayed. All of this is such a shame because the staff are fabulous and deserve to be given credit , but I expect they have to deal with a number of complaints.
