Crowne Plaza Leeds  

The hotel staff, from front desk to cleaning personel, gave me the feeling of returning to a welcoming home. The lobby was modern, yet retained that Yorkshire warmth and charm. Each request was met with a friendly,eye-to-eye, conversational reply, and the employees went out of their way to help me find my way in their lovely Leeds. My room was large, well-appointed, and immaculate.The mechanicals worked well, and the room was quiet. I appreciate the option to retain the towels, an ecologically sound practice.

The one criticism I have regards the wifi charges. For those who are not on expense accounts and don't required 24 hour connection, more and lower cost options should be made available. Although the free wifi connection available in the train station is an option, it would be more convenient to use a moderately priced plan at the hotel. In the future, free or low cost connection will be a consideration when I book accomodations.

The crowne Plaza was very enjoyable to stay in. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I just though it was a bit of a way from the City Centre and the shops. other than that everything very good

Comfortable beds....close to the train station

The water pressure on the shower is absolutely awful....can barely clean yourself...for such a nice hotel i'm very surprised they haven't sorted this out.

The room definitely had a damp problem at some point in the past - it was so fusty and smellie.

Staff very helpful. Close to venue for family meal and shopping. Very comfortable room. My husband has a loyalty card and had used the facilities for a business event a few weeks previously.

There was a wedding party so there were quite a few people up late going to their rooms from the nearby lift in the early hours of the morning which did wake me up. However it was not a reason to not stay again.

I rate this hotel 'fair' for Value For Money because (as is often the case) the breakfast is over-priced. £15.95 for a bowl of cereal (in my case) is ridiculous. I came to an arrangement with them (excellent service there!) but it would be refreshing to see a sliding scale of costs depending upon what you actually eat. With a Starbucks across the street I would say that Crowne have some interest in being more flexible. That is the only negative point about an otherwise good hotel.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay at the crowne plaza, hotel was very claen and modern. Rooms good and beds very comfotable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definatley stay again.
