Crowne Plaza Leeds  

Having a pool/gym - with a jacquzi, sauna and steam room was very good - as was the club sandwich from the bar snack menu

As a resident of the Hotel I don't think its right to be charged for parking and for WiFi - this hotel is not alone in making these charges to residents - I believe fundamentally this is wrong - I accept for non residents these charges makes sense - but not for residents

The location for us was perfect Breakfast was quiet nice but access to tea & coffee could have been better,as the girl who was serving,it was rather hard to get her attention.

The bedroom's on floor 5 are a little to warm.

The staff were extra friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and fresh. The pool and spa were excellent and the breakfast was first class. What more can I say? It was excellent from start to finish and we'd definitely come back.

Location pool and cleanliness of room

We booked room in advance with a non refundable cancellation. Received a confirmation email yet when we arrived at the hotel we were informed it hadn't been paid for. I was very annoyed that we hadn't been informed before we arrived as we were under the impression that we had paid in advance as it was a room that had to be paid for on booking, the room was booked on feb 1st and put a damper on our stay. I'm sure a quick email to inform us of this problem wouldn't of been to much trouble but it obviously was. If we'd known our way round Leeds we would of went else where as we were so annoyed!!

Yet again staying at the Crowne Plaza we found all the staff to be exceptionally helpful, polite, charming and fun. The room was great and the breakfast excellent. We were pleased we had chosen to return there. It may be a chain of hotels but it definitely had a local feel.

Very Helpful at Reception including "Abigail" who treated queue jumpers with good tact on check out.

The room definitely had a damp problem at some point in the past - it was so fusty and smellie.

I rate this hotel 'fair' for Value For Money because (as is often the case) the breakfast is over-priced. £15.95 for a bowl of cereal (in my case) is ridiculous. I came to an arrangement with them (excellent service there!) but it would be refreshing to see a sliding scale of costs depending upon what you actually eat. With a Starbucks across the street I would say that Crowne have some interest in being more flexible. That is the only negative point about an otherwise good hotel.
