Score from 79 reviews Very good
The meal we had in the (i think it was called glade?) restaurant was excellent, the staff were without exception friendly and helpful and the facilities were good.
The meal we had in the bar the first night was awful; tasteless and not worth the money...stick to the drinks!
Friendly Staff, Good Food, Large Room
Very very slow check in Bar snack was very poor and took a very long tine to arrive
Out side lighting,
Young friendly and helpful staff Clean modern environment External grounds and lake Superb breakfast buffet Efficient lifts Plenty of car parking
Extra-large duvet covers Summer-quality duvets in late November
The food was excellent and the staff were extremely attentive and happy to help. The problem we did have - mentioned in the "What didn't you like" section was dealt with by the Duty Manager quite well.
We had booked this hotel particularly because it had a Spa and we needed to relax before a long flight. We booked several treatments about a month before the visit (by email and confirmation telephone call) but on arrival were told they had no record of the booking and that they could only give us 2xhalf hour treatments - the disappointment was huge. The Duty Manager managed to arrange a bit more time for us but it was all very rushed. We felt the dining room of the hotel was very Spartan and echoed.
We thought the food, particularly the breakfasts were excellent. Lovely pool, staff were attentive & helpful
The staff were extremely helpful and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Breakfast was delicious
There eas nothing I didn't like.
The staff were all very helpful and breakfast, once downstairs and once in our room was really good quality. We had one of the King rooms and the bath was huge.
The television was tempremental and a bit fiddly to operate and we had to reset it a couple of times.
I requested a quiet room,we were given a room with 2 large beds in the quiet area of the hotel. The beds were the most comfortable we have experienced this side of the Atlantic.Much better than the hotel chain who boast about their beds,if you don't sleep well you get your money back! The staff without exception were friendly and courteous The parking was easy and plenty of it The location was fine for us,easy access from the M40,we were aware it was on the edge of an industrial estate when we booked it Very good value for money with breakfast included through this website.
The acoustics,The restaurant is a very noisey place to eat perhaps due to the construction of the building and lack of soft furnishings to muffle the noise, not very relaxing We would use this hotel again but maybe eat elsewhere.
i had unfortunately double booked for the previous night at another Crown Plaza and i was made to pay in full, so i was a little disappointed with the customer service.
The swimming pool and outside hot tub were great. Decent sized and comfortable rooms. Location by river lovely although the drive through the council estate en route is a bit disconcerting at first!
The price of food and chips! Side of chips = 9 chips, bit of a joke! Decent food but small courses and quite expensive. Wine £8+ for a large glass!
Friendly helpful staff clean comfy room
No faults . Did not eat here so can not comment.
Very helpful friendly staff. Good comfortable room very quiet. Excellent breakfast and good value for money. Will definitely return for a short stay.
Price - very good value for money. Conveient location just off the motorway
pillows were not of a good quality
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the running station
Breakfast was appalling £18:50 to sit in chaos 20 minute wait for tea then there were no t spoons or milk to go with it!! Hot food was cold with lots missing. The worst hotel breakfast I've ever had. My advise book room and breakfast because £18:50 is far too much,
The room was spacious and the bed was advertised as a king but was more like a super king. The bathroom was very clean and had a large bath and a separate shower cubicle.
The only things I can fault are the drive up to the hotel through an industrial estate and the service at breakfast. The food was great but we were in the restaurant for nearly half an hour before we got our tea and coffee. We had almost finished eating out breakfast and I had asked 2 different members of staff. The young waitress that brought the drinks was very apologetic. Some food started to run out and wasn't replenished and we overheard someone complaining. But there was plenty when we were there.
nice breakfast, clean room
public areas (bar/breakfast) messy and a bit dirty - all extras very expensive - staff overcharged room cost by £50 and having to refund me...
Staff; Room; Facilities; breakfast
I thought staff were amazing; friendly, welcoming and professional. Restaurant is lovely and view out to water is relaxing. Room was fab. Slept very well, large beds!
I thought the spa area, particularly the pool could go with sprucing up. (Repaint). Also the hot tub was not working. However I did have a very relaxing time there.
The staff were friendly and the rooms big, clean and comfortable.
The staff - well trained, polite, helpful, friendly Facilities - excellent Breakfast - more than ample Rooms - well serviced. comfortable bed Pleasant surroundings.
The Hotek was fabulous, the staff were always friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were great, we had a standard and it was much more than expected. Would highly recommend
The industrial entrance. The location wasn't ideal for a 'safe' walk - even though our event was only half a mile away.
The facilities were better than expected, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Good value for money.
Half an hour stroll to the centre of Marlowe, through an industrial estate, although I expect if it was nearer the centre, it would be a lot more expensive. The outside of the hotel isn't particularly pretty, but this does not reflect the internal which was very nice.
Rooms were comfy and clean
Location was a bit out of the way Expensive breakfast
