Very good,
Score from 138 reviews
“Parking was free. The room was very pleasant, comfortable, clean and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Towels and towelling robe was provided. Also mini products of body wash, shampoo and moisterizer. Sport channels on the tv which could also be heard in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and as much as you wanted to eat. It was overall a very pleasant stay.”

Nice, clean hotel. Good location, once you find it. Staff were always willing and friendly. Could be better sign posted through the small industrial estate. Clearer pricing arrangements on your incidentals charge at time of booking would have been nice.

Friendly and helpful staff. Location suited our needs -we were attending a wedding in Marlow. Hotel airy and spacious. Club room facility was uninviting and food should be covered. hotel transport into Marlow would have been useful for those who did not wish to drive (even at a cost).

The room was excellent and the staff very helpful I did not like the noisy football dominating the television area. The breakfast is much too expensive so we ate elsewhere.

Staff were very friendly. Rooms were nice. The price of the minibar was very expensive. £2.95 for a can of coke is very expensive & we felt that we were being ripped off having to pay this which left a bad taste in our mouth to what was up until that point a lovely experience.

Very confortable room, nice spa facilities and wonderful garden close to a lake. You need a car to get around. Expensive breakfast and/or food at hotel. Free wifi limited.

Very clean with decent friendly staff. Food and drink, while not of bad quality, was a little too pricey for what you got.

We found all the staff exceptionally helpful and friendly The room and bed were very comfortable Breakfast facilities mostly good The lighting in the restaurant for Dinner was too dim for comfort As an older person the staff obligingly bought me a menu with larger print!! Some difficulty in finding a parking space (it was Saturday evening) that was not a hike away from reception.

I travelled with young children to a conference at your hotel. The main issue was the temperature of the building, every room I went into was freezing. I complained to the reception staff who entered our bedroom very abruptly and told me and my husband it was on full. My children were freezing, and we literally had to sit under the quilts all evening. The staff in general were quite rude and unhelpful. I wouldn't choose the hotel again unless I had no other choice. The price of the breakfast, which was in total £37 was a disgrace. My children are only 2&4, so £6.50 each, along with £12.50 for adults (which was apparently discounted) is despicable. Regards, Dr Sue Hewett

The kingsize room was well laid out with plenty of room and an amazing bed. The duvet and pillows were of excellent quality and we had a great nights sleep. The en suite bathroom had both a bath and shower and was very light. We found the bar to be well-stocked and the staff very attentive and helpful. The breakfast buffet was of great quality with plenty of choice The bar is very expensive and the location on an industrial site away from the town means that there is little choice locally unless happy to get a taxi.

Unfortunately my girlfriend from Belfast didn't show up. I wanted to check out on the first night, but had to incurr a £50 charge.......I Can't imagine why as I'd still paid for the room. I was very annoyed about this ridiculous unnecessary charge and resent being conned. I did not sleep there on the Saturday night and had to go back to hand in the key on the Sunday. The charge for checking out early, even though I had paid for the room for two nights is a con and there is no need for this to be the case.......I Will not be recommending you to anyone.

The bartenders Vid and nitin were very professional and very friendly and pleasant. If it had not been for them we would not have gone into the bar. We stayed for a total of 6 nights..the hotel was full of office christmas parties. The bar was for residents and the parties, so no separate bar for guests...and the clientele some nights were very rowdy. There was a bad fight one evening in the bar so we felt we were safer to leave, people were sick in the foyer, and in general it felt a very down market place to stay at this time of the year. We went to the restaurant for breakfast and people were allowed in wearing pyjamas and dressing gowns, we saw 4 on our last morning. I asked the manager on duty if there was no dress code for the restaurant and he said he would deal with it...which he didn'T. It just made it feel unhygenic and an unpleasant place to eat breakfast. The club lounge was very poorly stocked and on many occasions there were no coffee cups or glasses, and very few drinks. Our room key failed to work on 4 occassions so we had to go back to reception each time to get it re-activated. We stayed here 5 years ago and the hotel seems to be quite scruffy now.

“For the price the room was perfect. Excellent quality bedding, comfortable bed. The room and bathroom were very clean (fluffy towels and robes of 5 star quality). The breakfast selection was ample and the quality of food of a very high standard. Overall the staff were the icing on the cake, very helpful and genuinely friendly and anticipated our needs with a toddler (highchair, warm milk). Great stay!” Catherine, London |
