This is a return trip for us to Crowne Plaza Marlow and we had a really lovely stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The spa and pool facilities were great and we thoroughly enjoyed the outside hot-tub. Breakfast was of a very high standard and had a large selection of cold and cooked options. The only slight drawback was the time it took to get the attention of the waiting staff. The location of the hotel near Marlow and Henley mean that there is plenty to do within easy car journey and lots of lovely restaurants to choose from in Henley. We think this is a great option if you just want relax and don't want to travel too far from London for a weekend away. We will definitely be returning.

Unfortunately my girlfriend from Belfast didn't show up. I wanted to check out on the first night, but had to incurr a £50 charge.......I Can't imagine why as I'd still paid for the room. I was very annoyed about this ridiculous unnecessary charge and resent being conned. I did not sleep there on the Saturday night and had to go back to hand in the key on the Sunday. The charge for checking out early, even though I had paid for the room for two nights is a con and there is no need for this to be the case.......I Will not be recommending you to anyone.

Room was well appointed. Liked the Bath and seperate shower. Breakfast was excellent - well balanced mix of buffet and cooked to order. Al the staff I spoke to were helpful, friendly and above all polite. Would happily stay again. Thought the prices for wi-fi were a bit steep as were the cost of drinks in the mini bar. Maybe the provision of a vending machine would have helped with the cost of a coke

The bartenders Vid and nitin were very professional and very friendly and pleasant. If it had not been for them we would not have gone into the bar. We stayed for a total of 6 nights..the hotel was full of office christmas parties. The bar was for residents and the parties, so no separate bar for guests...and the clientele some nights were very rowdy. There was a bad fight one evening in the bar so we felt we were safer to leave, people were sick in the foyer, and in general it felt a very down market place to stay at this time of the year. We went to the restaurant for breakfast and people were allowed in wearing pyjamas and dressing gowns, we saw 4 on our last morning. I asked the manager on duty if there was no dress code for the restaurant and he said he would deal with it...which he didn'T. It just made it feel unhygenic and an unpleasant place to eat breakfast. The club lounge was very poorly stocked and on many occasions there were no coffee cups or glasses, and very few drinks. Our room key failed to work on 4 occassions so we had to go back to reception each time to get it re-activated. We stayed here 5 years ago and the hotel seems to be quite scruffy now.

Location. Reception staff cold and impersonal. No wifi in rooms and breakfast was poor quality and expensive. Reception staff more interested in selling you breakfast tokens and wifi access than respondint to individual requirments. The Crowne Plaza is a functional hotel - geared to optimising profits per customer . Crowne Plaza is not a customer focused establishment in my recent experience

The room had everything you wanted and it was modern, with adequate parking at/around the Hotel. Also the town of Marlow was a good distance for walking to. The Meals and Drinks within the Hotel were very over priced.

The deal was excellent value and it was within 25 mins from Marlowe town centre. Although you drive through an industrial estate to get there, once inside the hotel backs on to a gorgeous lake.
