    Good location and good decor

Breakfast was chaotic, first no eggs, when they came the bacon had run out and then when that came the mushrooms had run out.

Beautiful hotel in a excellent location for both visiting new forest or walking into town. Room was clean (except toilet) and bed comfortable. Excellent breakfast choice

Wifi did not work, Paid for room upgrade, but still got one looking onto flat roof / fire escape. Toilet rim could do with a good clean (room 109)

We've stayed before when it was a Best Western, still just as good.

Shame there's no fish on breakfast menu.

Hotel Grounds, Breakfast, lounge areas and location of hotel. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was well presented although a little small.

Restaurant was overpriced and meal was average, rooms are small and a bit claustrophobic.

Location was good, easy access to shops and places to eat. Hotel interesting and a good breakfast. Staff polite.

Our room was terrible. Very small, airless, dark. Right up in the rafters with no view at all. Very poor storage, just 4 hangers in a small cupboard. No chest of drawers. No way was this a 4 star guest room. Avoid room 302 at all costs!

    The cleanliness of all areas.

The breakfast was a buffet style and not up to the standard expected in a 4 star hotel, the bacon was more like shoe leather and the fried bread explodes when you cut it.

    The location was good.

Nail clippings on the bed cover. Eaves bedroom so had to remain stooped to avoid banging our heads. Not being able to use the bar and grill at the time we wanted because of a function.

Helpful, friendly, and cheerful staff. Plenty of car-parking. A good location for getting out and about. Close to local shops. Comfortable room. Excellent breakfasts. Wonderful Ringwood draught ale.

Liquid soap in the rooms (although I realise this saves wastage). Some evening meals could have been warmer. I had almost cold chips on one occasion, and lukewarm venison (although perfectly cooked). A 'dodgy' lift. We couldn't always open the outer door when leaving the lift! On arrival in our DOUBLE room, we had only FOUR hangers, ONE mug, ONE spoon, and ONE reading lamp! But this was quickly rectified.
