Staff proximity to town car park down to earth normal feel
Rough seeming area bed matresses are quite uncomfortable noise from boy racer cars quite bad
History of hotel
Dirty in toliet and smell badly.
All round good for Alton towers trip and stay over if travelling from far away
The hotel has a brilliant town centre location, is excellent value for money, basic but clean. I'd definitely stay again.
It was a bit down at heel, but honestly, for this sort of price you can't really expect anything else.
Location was good. Good car park.
An hour and half wait for breakfast. Shower didn't work. Dirty room, stains. Was bitten by bed bugs or something in the night. Terrible customer service.
The location was near all the shops and markets train station close by
Nothing at all
Staff, value and peaceful
ROOMS FILTHY, STINK ALMOST UNBEARABLE
Cost, bed, space, quiet. Most staff very extremely useful and friendly. Right in the centre of Longton. Very close to where GF lives.
Remote for TV was uncompatable. Wifi signal too low even in hotspot. No lift, but luckily on 1st floor. Toilet seat loose.
Showers weren't very powerful
Staff were ok and helpful
To much to put, just don't go here
Done what it said on the tin Reasonable price Reasonable price breakfast Friendly bar and lounge Friendly staff
Nothing considering the price
Cheap n cheerful
Bit rough around edges, room was plenty big enough but dated Decoration, uncomfortable bed and upside down shower head were novel remote wouldn't work tv .noisy road outside a lot of teenagers hanging round no idea if they were residents or not.
This was ideal for our trip to Alton towers, great location and nice to have a car park. The staff were helpful and welcoming- the first room we had been given hadn't been cleaned but the porter changed us to the bridal suite with no problems at all. This is basic and slightly worn out, but clean and comfortable. The price was good and we slept well so if you want the best of cheap no frills accomodation near to Alton towers then this was great.
The hallways smelt a bit strange! I would prefer a latch on the door. The first room hasn't been cleaned.
Getting out of there as soon as possible in the morning
Everything about the place and room
The receptionist was great
Cleanliness was absolutely poor Presentation of room was poor
Everything else, a bit grubby feeling, creaky floors , a bit smelly in the corridors, bathroom floor all wrinkly through damp. Teabags supplied tasted disgusting ?? bed lumpy . Found out Breakfast extra .so not so good value. went to harvester for a cheaper and all you can eat brekkie. But better than sleeping in the hedge.
Breakfast was nice
Bed was rock hard and uncomfortable, woke up with a bad back. Dirty old smoke smell, rooms dirty and damp, things missing, everything's falling apart
beds lumpy, a bit tired
It was very cheap and helpful staff
There was a musty smell through the hotel. The hotel was just very run down.
Nothing at all
Absolutely horrible place. Holes in towels, mould, dead flies on windowsills, stains on carpet which hadn't been hoovered in a while, cigarette butt on the floor, no cold water. Dont know how the place is still open!!! Awaiting a refund.
Nothing, the bar was shabby, the rooms appalling. No plugs in the sink, taps lose. The cold one came right of. It was very unclean & they've very conveniently managed to miss the suspended railway line less that 5 meters from the front of the hotel.
All of it, it was dirty, shabby & generally very run down.
Everything I t was the most dirtiest, filthy and unclean hotel (hovel) we have ever stayed in. the walls and ceilings were cracked and dirty with marks on them. Curtains were old and dirty. the bathrooms stank of old urine and were dirty and brown and unclean. There was no wardrobe in the twin room so you hung your clothes on a rail hung to the wall. No drawers for clothes. the TV remote had been broken in two and was taped to keep it together. Mugs were cracked and dirty. The carpet was filthy, full of hairs and muck and this was in the rooms, hallway and stairs. people were smoking in the hotel and it smelled old and unclean. the girls on reception looked messy and in old clothes, no uniforms. This was disgusting. there is also a railway bridge arms lengths from some of the rooms and it sounds like the hotel is under attack from 6.47am onwards. Awful place and certainly needs to either be refurbished or prohibited as a hotel.
