The staff were excellent, extremely friendly, helpful and had good local knowledge. 'Fred' on the desk by the front doors was most helpful and always had a smile on his face. The bathroom was a bit dated but the room was very clean and well appointed

There was building work ongoing which was a bit irritating. The view from the window was of a brick wall but as we were out most of the time it wasn't too much of an issue. I thought the price of breakfast was a disgrace. £18.50 is fine when a big company is picking up the bill, but for anyone paying from their own pocket it appears to me to be too much to ask. It gives the impression that the company is incredibly greedy out to exploit foreign tourists who don't appreciate the exchange rate. I refused to pay out of principle and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at the cafe across the street for £4.70. It just took the edge off what would have been a fantastic stay. Given the location of the hotel they should ask for a bit extra for the room and provide a complementary breakfast.

Location and breakfast were good. Room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. Access to the internet at the Business Centre was free.

Our room was pretty small for the price we paid. We had recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Salzurg and had a much larger room for significantly lower cost. Why do hotels still insist on charging for Wifi access? It doesn't make sense when you can get it free in nearby coffee shops (and in the hotel Business Centre). It is really annoying.

The location was fantastic, walking distance to many tourist locations such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. Concierge was fabulous, knowledgable about everything. Bedding was lovely and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Also easy to get to via the Underground train system from Heathrow airport.

We were a couple, only one lounge chair was supplied. We stayed 7 floors up, one morning, whilst walking around in my towel, there was a window cleaner directly outside my window, which had sheer certains that didn't close properly. The hotel should have warned me of this cleaning activity, it was quite disconcerting, as I initially had no idea what this man was doing outside my window.

The pillows were rock hard, not comfortable. And it was a shame that the most expensive hotel that we have used on this 5 week tour of London and France did not provide free wii Fii, all the others , 5 star down to 2 star have all provide free wii fii. Also the room was quite noisy at night, it sounded like a jug was boiling in the walls.

Loved how close it was to tube and how pretty the hotel is with its red carpet entrance and marble floors. Staff very friendly opening doors for you each day mad the stay even more pleasant.

On booking in I was most impressed by the friendly efficient staff particularly Hans who explained everything to do including options for dinner etc. On finishing our dinner I was passing the reception desk and Hans spoke to me by my name Ms Greene and asked if I enjoyed dinner. That meant so much to me and I thanked him personally for remembering my name. Staff throughout out stay were just wonderful and in the informal eating place towards the back of the reception area the staff were so obliging and nothing appeared to be a difficulty for them. The conceige staff were so helpful and it was a joy to stay at the Crowne Plaza. This was a special trip to celebrate my retirement and my husbands birthday and personally we could not have bettered the choice we made. Weather was really bad but even that did not dampen our good feelings in the slightest/ Thank you so much and hope to revisist you sometime in the future Kindest regards Mary & Patrick Greene

The hotel was very accessible for the conference that I attended and close to the tourist attractions.
