Crowne Plaza London St James  

the size of the room, the decor, the staff very friendly and the outdoor area very relaxing.

As we are expecting our first baby in 6 weeks, this was our last weekend getaway to London. We had a wonderful stay at the Crown Plaza. The location is excellent as it is only a few minutes away from Buckingham Palace. When we arrived at 2 check-in time, we still had to wait for 45 minutes to check-in as our room was not ready. Our first room was a refurbished room (the Standard rooms are prettybut very small) but had no view and was on the noisy side. We opted for a non refurbished room and had a lovely view overlooking the fountain area of the hotel. The non refurbished area of the hotel is on the tired side. Staff is very attentive and everyone makes you feel welcome! We definitely had a lovely time and would highly recommend the Crown Plaza. We will be back once our little one is born.

The staff were all exceptionally helpful and went out of there way to help with any enquiries we had. We will definately recommend this hotel to our friends and we hope to stay here again.

Standard room was a good size and bright and airy. Nice big bathroom and bathrobes. Lots of little extras - very god value and great location - a short walk to Westminster Cathedral, Houses of Parliament etc. Very helpful attentive staff - special mention to Carolina! Couldn't fault this hotel!

They were very friendly and twice that we had dinner in our room it was very delicious!!!!!!!!

The very helpful, friendly staff. The beautiful food and the view on to the courtyard from the hotel room. Also it was within walking distance from victoria station.

I thought the welcome was exceptional. It took a while to check in which was slightly frustrating. The hotel was in immaculate condition, we were very impressed with the room and would definitely request the same room again, it was very quiet, nicely appointed and the bed was very comfortable. We used the gym facilities which were excellent. Unfortunately we didn't eat at the hotel but would definitely consider that next time.

The scaffolding was slightly unfortunate, but certainly not a problem for us and we didn't hear any of the building work taking place. I can't say anything negative about our stay - it was excellent.

This was a fantastic hotel in a brilliant location just up the road from St James Park and Buckingham Palace. Fantastic restaurant & spa facilities and staff were superb with valet parking. On the downside one of the bars is very small and the breakfast is very expensive but there are a couple of excellent local cafes offering great English restaurant. Overall fantastic and would definitely recommend and come back thanks

Ongoing building works spoil the appearance of the building, but didnt cause too much disturbence.

There seemed to be no room at the Crowne Plaza: I was put up in the nearby 51 suites. I wish to recommend this Taj set of suites. Staff were extremely friendly, place was superbly furnished, and comfort superb.

The Crown Plaza is a slow ten minute walk from Victoria underground and mainline station. Or a five minute walk from St James tube station. I was made very welcome by the reception staff. The room was lovely. Breakfast was included in my stay which was a unexpected surprise and was very nice. Overall a very pleasant overnight stay in central London. .

The reception was friendly, informative and helpful. The room was very nice, not over large but perfectly suitable for a weekend (1 night) break. It was comfortable with excellent facilities, lovely bathroom and generous sized shower. The room was spotlessly clean - how do you get your mirrors and surfaces absolutely smear free. The breakfast offered a wide choice and the quality was very good. Set us up well for our days out as t.he hotel is idealy situated for theatres and shopping. We enjoyed our stay very much and would certainy recommend to friends and family.
